I have some issues with the blog though.

Mind Manipulation and Soul Manipulation immunity should be removed. Nothing says inorganic beings can't have souls or minds; it would have to be outright stated in the verse like in RWBY to be applicable.

Heck, it's outright contradicted by Blue's powers and the existence of an Astral plane,

So Gems resisting mindhax/soulhax would depend entirely if the person they are fighting are on a verse where they would qualify as having minds/souls.

I don't think we would assume stuff like them have souls by default but they pretty blatantly have minds.
The criteria for having a soul should be determined by the verse with the soulhax.

Weren't there a recent discussion about gem's soul? I think few agreed to remove their soullessness, since by all means they are considered humans (aside by being inorganic).

> To simpify Gem pages, how about we remove all the standard Gem powers from each page and replace them with "Gem Physiology", with the power linking to Weekly's (arguably) well contructed explaination blog? Or better yet, make a new page?

This is honestly a great idea.

If i am not mistaken the blog was made before all the mind-related things appeared in SU, so i guess it's simply because the blog is old.

I don't like the idea to remove the abilities

I think it's just plane better to just see what abilities they have, instead of having to read an entire blog (Like, not everyone HAS to know all the gems abilities)

The abilities are explained very well on the blog, though, and most of the profiles are already missing a huge number of resistances/powers that are on the blog, which if added would just make more of a mess on the page.

Outside of the Mind/Soul stuff the blog is correct and perfectly simple to understand.

Yeah, better not remove the powers (they still will have them in the categories), but since the profile will redirect to the blog, an explaination wouldn't be necessary in the profiles.

Just put a link to the blog and have "Gem Physiology".

It makes the pages look much more simple, and if there is anything on a need to know basis the blog is there, and highlights the unique stuff the Gem in question can actually do.

Any reason why White Diamond doesn't have Mind Control on her list of abilities? Is it just because it's from the finale and nobody has had a chance to add it yet?

We're still adding stuff from Change Your Mind, yes.

White Diamond should have Mind Control/Mind Manip and Corruption (Type 3) only applicable to Gems.

Also I have a draft for Obsidian right here.

Don't forget Expert Spear Wielder too going by when she controlled Pearl to fight Connie.

I don't think they should have limitless stamnia, no.

They don't need to sleep, but doing battle can exhaust them.

Heck, very early in the series Amethyst overexerts herself.

Should be "Physically tireless, although extensive combat or use of powers can strain and exhaust them"

Alright, just saying because your draft of Obsidian has her stamina as limitless.

Do Gems really have limitless stamina? I thought that the Chille Ted episode implied that the Gems could get tired too - or at least appear tired.
They said they don't need to rest loke Steven

Not needing sleeep =/= Limitless Stamina.

Gems can still exhause/exert themselves.

Mostly because we haven't decided on it here yet.

To point out, Obsidian wasn't "Unfazed after being slammed into a wall by White Diamond's Torso/Head ship".

They literally unfused after that slam, so you can't say Obsdian was "unfazed", tho you could consider than they unfused shortly before they were slammed into the wall;

Also a minor nitpick, Rubies should be the baseline for this scaling, seeing as theyre absolute fodder even for Pearl. Pearl, Anethyst, and Topaz should get 'at least 7-A' for their tier

"At least" either goes to Garnet-level gems

Or with is spammed of basically every character

Ya choice.

I thought they were getting 7-A+? We give multiple verse + ratings for being far stronger than things that are borderline +

What happened to the other higher 7-A feats?
When I say 13, I mean your 317 calc is 183 Megatons form 500 Megatons (The start for 7-A+)

EDIT: 7-A+ starts at 550 MT, so the gap is now 233 megatons

Ah okay

So maybe 'At least 7-A' for Pearl Amethyst etc. and 'At least 7-A, likely higher' For Garnet level gems.

Hell Garnet treated a ruby like a powerless child, thought her attacks were cute, then casually pinnes her uner one arm like she was nothing

Just "At least", since she also is far inferior to the 4 GT Cannon, and the higher could imply a higher level (Hey, if you prefer "At least 7-A+ for Garnet, that's fine, my point is that 233 isn't a small amount)
