@Luka

That logic fails here when the mats are only expanding one-note lines in Skill and NP descriptions and have been used in profiles.

The event never says CCC Kiara is below FGO Kiara, so again unsubstantiated bullshit. So why should we take a clearly uninformed opinion over the actual mats?

Saw someone saying servant's regen should be scaled to Jalter, nah m8 you dont scale it that way. A servsnt can fix damages done to their body by using mana in their reserve or in their master's reserve, though i guess both are practically the same in context of servant-master relationship lol. Jalter as an avenger have the class skill self recovery (mana) that made her generate mana passively, and its a high rank skill too being A+ rank. This only apply to avengers only imo, not all servants

Servants dont really dependant on their heart and brain too, those two organs in particular are just their cores/weakpoints. This is explained in some side material translated by mcjon

How to defeat servant

When a Heroic Spirit emerges into this world, he first acquires a Spiritual Core. The Heroic Spirit then materializes as the body envelopes this Spiritual Core. In order to defeat a Heroic Spirit, one must inflict damage to the Spiritual Core. The Spiritual Core gradually diminishes as a result of massive magical energy expenditure or sustaining bodily damage. Under these adverse conditions, the Heroic Spirit's expenditure of magical energy will escalate, and should damage be inflicted through powerful magical energy, curse, or Noble Phantasm, the Spiritual Core will be destroyed, and the Heroic Spirit will no long be able to remain materialized. The heart and head are connected directly to the Spiritual Core, thus they are the weaknesses of Heroic Spirits. Sustaining damage at these locations will significantly weaken the Spiritual Core.

battle of servant

The battle between Servants can be called a process of gradually shaving off the magical energy that forms the their bodies. Attacks that consume a great amount of magical energy will inflict a massive amount of damage on the opponent, but it will also weaken yourself in the process. In order to inflict a great amount of damage with minimum expenditure of magical energy, it is necessary to collect intelligence regarding the enemy and assault his weakness.

Damaging their body enough will also damage their core and if you damage heart or brain then its an even greater damage coz you make their mana expenditure higher. If you just destroy one of the two i guess they just went poof like saber did in hollow ataraxia after bazzet pierce her heart

That said, its been a while since the last time i visit this site lol. Life's a b!tch

In other words if they have a sufficient supply of mana to offset that expenditure, whether from a self replenishment skill or via simply having a good master, they can eventually heal from anything that doesn't outright destroy their core.

I guess you can put it that way, but the process isn't really quick. Even a servant with a high rank built-in battery like jalter still take some time to heal her wounds lol, and heavier the damage the longer time it took to heal. Uusually the one that can do this quickly have something that can hasten the process like healing skill or np like avalon for example

Also since sustained damage still burden the core anyway, if a servant was chasing someone then got injured or they were losing in a fight they would have to retreat first to treat their wound. Unless again they have something to hasten the regen

Like if you keep beating lancer he would eventually perish because all the damage done to his body would eventually break his core. But if he can retreat and took the time to heal his wound, he'd be back to peak condition again, given enough time and enough mana supply

So cut off an arm, stab a hole through their intestines - if they sit down and wait a while with a decent mana supply, they'll heal.

Combat innaplicable low mid should still be added to profiles

Agreed with that.

And to Luka before, no. The "official translations" and "fans translations" thingy was already tried before by Matt when discussing things about statements of Kiara and Tiamat.

And as people pointed out, almost everything we had translated before was translated by those same people. Many actually take the time to check what is said and the context of the words because they actually know Nasuverse. Mats and the like are also the entire source of the descriptions for most of the skills in here and other tidbits. Deciding to put that down because "official translation" isn't gonna earn you any points.

The length/significance of the individual things the mats go over is literally irrelevant. Most things in the mats don't actually contradict the game because there's barely any info in the game about the things the mats go over to begin with, but if the mats clash with the game then the game would logically take priority over them.

You must have missed the time where III/R was outright compared to/called a true Demon as opposed to just being "close to one". As well as the part where BB herself was stated to be inferior in power. Or the part where FGO Kiara, while knowing about what went down in CCC, stated that she couldn't ever reach a spirit origin of III/R's level again. OR the many times it was stated that the CCC and FGO Kiaras literally merged before the latter even began her metamorphosis into a Beast as well. Though if you really want a statement that straight-up says III/R > CCC, there are ones both in her in-game servant profile and your oh-so-precious mats.

Your condescending tone is not very funny, so calm that down. And I find it weird that you use an statement that compares something Kiara used as a human to how she uses it as a Beast. And no, I don't see at all how you can justify it referring to Demon Kiara rather than Human Kiara when the reference used is Human Kiara's software.

But... Zepar can't use the second magic so that throws a wrench into everything you just said? How can the Demon God that can only see the information from other worlds and not interact with them at all link these two and fuse them? How does he pulls this off without CCC Kiara doing anything when she's way more powerful than Zepar could hope to be? And did you just forget that you are using the literal words from the English translation without any context from the original japanese words?

My oh so precious mats seem rather laughable compared to multiversal Tamamo because of an official translation.

She became a Beast in FGO timeline instead of a True Demon like in CCC, how is this something to misread? Like, seriously? Have you honestly read the event?

Your scans nowhere near support your idea that CCC Kiara is weaker, so why bother with it?

You have yet to show that mats have contradicted anything in the game so I don't know why anyone should take you seriously when official materials generally disagree with you.

A nice video from FGO Arcade for Fujino.

Ozy uses light beams to fight, and his beams seems to engulf his opponents so if Gilgamesh were to send a barrage of swords against him and he attacked with the light beams. Wouldn't those weapons get destroyed and the light beam still approach Gil?

All I see is Fujino getting smacked around by Gil and accomplishing not much

Also St George giving Bathory a dragon attribu - waaaaait a minute

Wait for Camelot movies.

Lmfao did you watch the full video or just skim through it? The NP from Fujino is what caught my attention.

Alright, so should I make a thread to upgrade general servant regen to Low-Mid based on Jeanne Alter regenerating from Moriarty blowing a hole in her stomach? this would obviously be over time, and not directly combat applicable in the short term

Maybe. Then again, Gil probably has some sort of mirror NP in GoB somewhere.

Maybe. Then again, Gil probably has some sort of mirror NP in GoB somewhere.

But then there is a possibility that the mirror might crack, going off of what happened to Nitocris in Camelot.

Nitocris' mirror and Gilgamesh's mirror is not the same thing though. It doesn't even have the same function.

Also... I just realized, wasn't there some translation that Surtr's NP is able to kill even immortals as long as they have a life force, probably referring to him being able to kill Scathach-Skadi, but it couldn't do anything to Servants as they were just pure Ether resembling a living form? We kinda already agree on this, but it seems like it should afford some kind of resistance to life manipulation/biology manipulation.

Sounds more like Type 7 Immortality to me. Possibly even Type 5 if we consider that they aren't even alive in the first place.

In which case, Loptr Laegjarn would be Immortality Negation for anything that possesses life force. Which should include types 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 8 at least. Might even include type 7 if the undead is directly supported by life force (think Bruno Buccellati after the first encounter with King Crimson).

Why is it Merlin don't have Acausality on his profile? Even though he got Independent Manifestation A on his profile.

Probably just missing. It should be there.

Independent Manifestion isn't Acausality. By that logic, we might as well give Archer (EMIYA) and other servants to having Acausality itself.

Make a CRT or a QA regarding that @Solacis

Pay attention to his Noble Phantasm! Surt's Noble Phantasm is a divine forged armament, forged by the planet! It possesses the preferential right against all life! If one is a living creatures with a form, then one would be destroyed even if one is a god of the age of the gods!"
