Thread 'Ayyy another Nardo Speed Thread(The Lightning Round)'

Based on the title, I'm sure some of you can tell that this will be a thread going over the validity of a "light speed" Raikage statement given to us by a Databook.

This was previously gone over in a separate thread back in 2021 where it was declined for a couple of reasons I want to touch on today.


As far as I can tell from this thread listed above the main reasons for the statement having been declined were differing opinions on interpretations, another conflicting Naruto Speed CRT going on at...

Missed the whole multiplier debacle but the statement is very clear especially with the context. After fighting Deepa an opponent who casually neg diffed Team 7 without even trying, while laughing. Boruto had assessed that they'd need to get X amount stronger in a short amount of time to defeat him, which Sarada who has the Sharingan doubles down on. She has the Sharingan so she's able to assess chakra and very plainly agreed with Boruto that they needed to get that much stronger by the time they come around.

Boruto then goes to get trained by Kakashi and learns the basics of chakra control and nature chakra and also learned tips from Team 10 who had also fought Deepa and Sarada got trained by Sasuke and Sakura to help with chakra control and training her Sharingan, and became LEAPS and BOUNDS stronger with their respective abilities to the point where they were able to keep up with Deepa and harm him with the Compression Rasengan and with Sarada's Enhanced Strikes. Even then, Deepa was still far stronger and had a Carbon Armor that surpassed his previous armor, and it took all of team 7's strongest attacks to defeat him. There's nothing wrong with the multiplier, you're just nitpicking.

This was unfiltered ass

Saying we need to be x times stronger is WAY worse than saying “I consider myself to require getting x times stronger to beat y entity” and since test implied they later on matched said y entity I didn’t have issues with it

You were simply unconvincing and often times just sound outright desperate




Now personally I would suggest having Deepa have all the mental gymnastics explained in his profile justifications and then scale everyone normally to that as opposed to saying “HA 8X😂!!”

I did already. The main argument is that it is a simile and should not be used.

However, a simile is a figure of speech that compares two different things using the words “like” or “as” to highlight similarities. In certain contexts, a simile can have a literal basis eg,
“The car moved as fast as a cheetah.”
(If the car is travelling at speeds comparable to a cheetah’s top speed, this is a literal simile) though the car itself is not a cheetah, it can travel at a speed comparable to the speed of a cheetah
Cheetah top speed = 75 miles per hour
Car speed= 75 miles per hour

Now let's go into Double Lariat

“Like that of light”

I purposefully highlighted this part so you guys can see the comparison. Light itself is not a speed however the speed at which light travels in a vacuum is 874030 Mach, this is called the speed of light.
Though Bee and Ay are not literally light themselves, when they rush forward with the double lariat, they move at the speed of 874030.

The speed of Light = 874030 Mach
The speed of Double Lariat = 874030 Mach

Funny enough we have a lot of simile statements in fiction lol.
Eg Yamamoto “Think of my body and blade as being enveloped by the sun” his body and blade is as hot as the sun though his body and blade are not literally the sun they can get that hot this is a simile and it is a valid statement because this is fiction.
 
I know Yamamoto mentioned specifically that the Heat reaches 15000000 degrees. My point was to draw the comparison itself. Though Ryujin Jakka is not the sun it is comparable to the heat of the sun and this is valid in Fiction. As in fiction you can can literal figurative statements.

Ryujin Jakka - 15000000 degrees Celsius

The sun core- 15000000 degrees Celsius
