Kakashi is probably stronger, is smarter, has a more collected disposition that a leader would need, and probably a lot more notoriety in and out of the village.

I personally don't see how Asuma would be a better candidate but to each their own.
 
it doesnt need a counter it just says we need to be stronger with nothing in the story implying they reached the exact vague number she spat out, strange it got accepted given the wiki's rather demanding nature

Funny enough you do need a counter to debunk it lmao. It’s not vague it’s rather direct, many (3-4) doubles in strength (factors of 2), is lowballed to 3 doubles (which is 2^3 or 8x). So you’ve got a very clear 8-16x multiplier statement (we stay conservative on vsbw so we went 8x). And then Sarada is shown to be likely correct given they do make leaps in strength. Thus there’s preponderance for her goal (getting 8x stronger) being achieved. You need to provide refutation for the interpretation that she’s just waffling being more likely than the other. Which you just haven’t done and instead are just coping about it.

shown to be likely correct based on what? because you feel it in your heart? what exactly stops this from being interpreted as her pulling numbers out of her ass when meaning to say they need to have a big power leap

Characters are vessels for the authors to convey info, and while they can certainly be wrong, she knows her strength and makes it known this increase is a necessity. Then when they do get stronger like she said, it adds credence to her claim. That’s why it’s likely. Also you need to provide actual reasoning for it being waffling. You’re just asking “why” and when presented with the “why” you don’t refute it

it's not even likely, it seems to be a full on rating

you haven't shown any evidence to say they did indeed reach those levels like a sort of confirmation of any sort from the story, it's perfectly okay to question a contextless scan that says "we need to" rather than "we did"

I’m fine conceding to likely over full on tbh so that’s really splitting hairs. I haven’t provided any scans if that’s what you mean by evidence, and uh, I don’t watch Boruto so I’m not gonna grab anime scans. But I have provided evidence in terms of logical argumentation.

Thread 'Ayyy another Nardo Speed Thread(The Lightning Round)'

Based on the title, I'm sure some of you can tell that this will be a thread going over the validity of a "light speed" Raikage statement given to us by a Databook.

This was previously gone over in a separate thread back in 2021 where it was declined for a couple of reasons I want to touch on today.


As far as I can tell from this thread listed above the main reasons for the statement having been declined were differing opinions on interpretations, another conflicting Naruto Speed CRT going on at...

Missed the whole multiplier debacle but the statement is very clear especially with the context. After fighting Deepa an opponent who casually neg diffed Team 7 without even trying, while laughing. Boruto had assessed that they'd need to get X amount stronger in a short amount of time to defeat him, which Sarada who has the Sharingan doubles down on. She has the Sharingan so she's able to assess chakra and very plainly agreed with Boruto that they needed to get that much stronger by the time they come around.

Boruto then goes to get trained by Kakashi and learns the basics of chakra control and nature chakra and also learned tips from Team 10 who had also fought Deepa and Sarada got trained by Sasuke and Sakura to help with chakra control and training her Sharingan, and became LEAPS and BOUNDS stronger with their respective abilities to the point where they were able to keep up with Deepa and harm him with the Compression Rasengan and with Sarada's Enhanced Strikes. Even then, Deepa was still far stronger and had a Carbon Armor that surpassed his previous armor, and it took all of team 7's strongest attacks to defeat him. There's nothing wrong with the multiplier, you're just nitpicking.
