I’m sure if you really looked, you could find many jutsu, or abilities in fiction that are described as working instantly.

That’s also not why Flying Raijin is considered Teleportation, it’s considered teleportation because we’re verbatim told it’s a space time ninjutsu that teleports you to places where marks are placed.

Also that’s not what Goal Post moving is.

Goal post moving would be if we accepted Flying Raijin as teleportation solely because it’s “instant.” And didn’t do so for Sukunahikona’s shrinking.

Please stop misusing that phrase.
No, I'm not misusing any phrase. The shrinking and restoration part of the ability has always been described as instant via isshiki or Kawaki using a simple glance. Now on the other hand I don't disagree with the spuning aspect of the justu itself since that part has always been described as travelling.

I was arguing the restoration more so was instant, we see jigen shrink things without them being instant, he never restores something at a speed that's visible to the viewer tho, also he can just spawn his rods and stuff at locations? Like they don't always come out of his hands especially for isshiki sometimes they just spawn above him or something

the word instant doesn't mean "something traveling a distance in 0 time."

instant means to happen in an absurdly short amount of time, or to happen immediately.

If we go based on definitions of the word, it doesn't mean infinite speed, you would need more proof than that.

restoring something at a speed perceivable to the viewer still falls under the idea that it's just absurdly faster than most people in the verse can react to.

Which is the real definition of Instantaneously anyway.

"done, occurring, or acting without any perceptible duration of time"

So yeah, Sukunahikona is much much faster than a lot of the characters, but it's not restoring objects at infinite speed just because Sasuke and the Databook said it's instantaneous.

every fictional or novel universe would have infinite speed if we took a word that grammatically can be broken down to instantaneous-like to mean moving a certain distance in 0 time.

What is this dude yapping about?

Been thinking, but we’re definitely gonna get one of these three from Mitsuki in some form or fashion, aren’t we?
  1. He’s faster/stronger than Boruto!
  2. He’s just as fast/strong as Boruto!
  3. He’s not as fast/strong as Boruto!

on NeoKingOfLight's soul we're gonna see MItsuki pop off next chapter 🙏

I think it's more about the durability/defence negation property than infinite speed

His argument is that Isshiki doesn't expand the objects back to original, rather just warps it back to it's original size without any expansion.
This should realistically negate durability and defences since the object takes a portion or even all of the same space where the opponents body is positioned. Hence sukuna hikona has a spatial manipulation attribute as well.

Edit: It's also possible the 'spatial manipulation restoration' is actually Daikokuten mixed into the sukuna hikona

I never said it restored it at a speed perceivable to the viewer, I said the exact opposite, I've never seen it expand from being small to it's normal size, it seems like jigen just disenchants it like a Minecraft enchatment

Ok so we’re saying that it is finite speed just immensely fast to perceive but that it’s a spatial enchantment and disenchantment, thats a bit generous but sure that’s fine for now.

It would still run into the problem of neutral limitless being a Barrier that manipulates space at an atomic level.

Atomic Spatial Barrier > instantaneous manipulation of an objects size using regular spatial manip.

It’s the same reason why characters with durability down to an atomic level can’t be dura negged by attacks that work on a cellular level.

Is Gojo’s Barrier “Physical” or “Theoretical”? Meaning is the “effect” of Limitless what creates the barrier around him or is there a “tangible” invisible barrier around him that when it comes into contact with something, the effect triggers?

If that makes sense… 🤔

Neutral Limitless is a passive spatial barrier made out of cursed energy that mimics the phenomenon of the Tortoise and the Hare due to using Gojo’s Infinity which is a cursed technique that lets him manipulate Space, and his Six Eyes that gives him the ability to control cursed energy at an Atomic level.

Gojo uses both to manipulate Space around him at an atomic level to slow down anything that moves towards him till it eventually stops.

It’s nothing Theoretical unless you buy into the “Cursed Techniques use the concepts they’re based on” argument, which does exist to an extent ig.

Dawg im paying for 20 mb Upload speed and getting 0.8 , i might be gone from the wiki for a few days this message took 10 years to send

@Ghostimuscrime @Samlex1234 Oh BTW, I reached the Momoshiki star scene at the end of the Novel, and the translation is pretty much the same as this translation, so nothing new.
That's been long translated

"The Gate to the other world that Nue opened... has been sealed."

Overlooking a blue planet was a desolate, solitary satellite: the Moon.

Upon it stood a building akin to a temple, constructed in ancient times, its very existence a secret.

Floating soundlessly above it, a man, resplendent with white hair and raiment, spoke in hushed tones to nobody in particular.

"For the time being... it seems that the Jougan will not return."

Ohtsutsuki Toneri. Speaking to Boruto through his dreams, he had prompted the awakening of a fateful power within the boy's body. A lonesome guardian pledged to standing vigil over those who lived on the surface world.

He had been unable to personally intervene. Doing so would surely have drawn the gaze of the "enemy" to the world looming below. That was why, upon becoming aware of Nue's existence, he had used means beyond human understanding to make Boruto aware of a portion of the power held within the Jougan, for he had had no choice but to resolve the incident indirectly.

"However, this is all just temporary... In time, the gods... will descend upon this land."

Of that he was certain. The arrival of those "enemies that frightened even Kaguya," whom Sasuke was investigating at that very moment, would likely occur far sooner than Naruto imagined. Within several years, a single year, or perhaps sooner still...!

"Their strength... the strength of the ninja... Still, it defies comprehension..."

Toneri himself had once been consumed by selfish pride, until his battle with Naruto revealed the error of his ways.

That was why, though they were but saplings sprouting from the seeds sown by Kaguya, he believed that the shinobi could surpass the power of the Ohtsutsuki who were their forebears.

And among them would stand a boy, the crystallization of that legacy: Uzumaki Boruto, whose potential was limitless.

EPILOGUE

Somewhere on an unidentified world.

Its doomed sun burned red, spitting synchrotron radiation with each death rattle, bathing its russet-colored terrain in the brilliant hues of an aurora.

In the heart of a ruined metropolis brimming with countless corpses, a small figure dressed in nobleman's finery, veil unsullied by even a mote of dust, sat atop a massive tree stump and gnawed upon something.

At first glance he appeared to be a handsome youth, but he wore a ruthless expression that oozed malice and vile cunning, and from his head grew a pair of horns that curved forward, dispelling any notion that he was human. Both of his eyes were white -- Byakugan.

"Hmm... For a world with such a low civilization level, I suppose the fruit was adequate."

The prize he had seized was the Divine Tree that had grown in these lands... now cruelly cut down and bereft of its fruit.

For no other reason than to "harvest" it, this world, and those who dwelled upon it, had been effortlessly destroyed.

"So, how did it go?"

With his back still turned, the silhouette of a stout man emerged from a spacetime ninjutsu behind him... Garbed in clothing of a similar design, with a single thick horn protruding from his skull and the bearded face of a giant, he replied with a voice like ice.

"In Kaguya's world, I observed significant tears. The space curvature has broken 16."

"Oh? We were supposed to wait to harvest that world..."

The smaller individual answered without a hint of emotion. He didn't even turn around.

"Right. If the space curvature exceeds ten, law dictates that we must immediately report it to the clan as an abnormality."

The giant stood at attention and nodded respectfully. It was obvious which of the two was in command, despite their respective ages; perhaps there was more to them than met the eye.

"For her to neglect her duties... That would mean that she has either chosen to disobey the clan, or..."

It was hard to fathom, but could she have been overthrown and destroyed by inferior lifeforms?

Normally such a thing would be impossible... However, if it were true, he imagined that it would make for an "exceptionally interesting" situation.

Unlike this pitiful heap, such a planet might have an abundance of ripe chakra truly worthy of being eaten.

"Kinshiki, make preperations to depart."

"As you wish, Lord Momoshiki."

Twisting his mouth wickedly, he who devours chakra -- nay, he who devours worlds -- rose to his feet.

* * *

The day of that clash draws near.

For now, his father's true greatness, and the burden of his heavy fate... these are things the boy is unaware of.

However, regardless of the hardships he may face, with the Will of Fire that dwells in his eyes, like the shining sun, he will light the way to his future... with his friends, together.

For this... is his story.

that is fine
I got what I personally wanted

just wish the low level civilisation part wasnt included but we can chalk that upto momoshikis racism rather than them being truly pitiful in terms of consumable reserves

Btw… someone should really store screenshots of the Website’s texts, just incase the website doesn’t survive long term.

I don't think limitless can deal with spatial manifestation. Because there won't be no atoms to interact with at the point of disenchantment (as you call it). And at the point of enchantment, the weapon has already lodged through the barrier. I don't think it does anything for Gojo's internals.

Doesn't amaterasu bypass the limitless too?

amaterasu probably doesnt, it has a travel speed, and is fire... unless your talking about some other property idk about
