Most downplayed character, in your opinion

If the comic gives us shit, I'm for an upgrade. But Doom Slayer can't be any higher unless you use that 7-D demon statement that has literally no context.

Superman is tier 1 though. Isn't he the strongest superhero on this wiki anyway?

Also here are Superman's greatest feats.
I mostly meant like Post-Crisis Supes. Is the thought robot actually Supes or just some monitor that has a resemblance to Supes? I’ve heard it go both ways.

Honestly if he did enter tier 1 he’d the the most pathetic tier 1 besides maybe iron man

Doomsday is already a pretty weak 2-A. Mr Satan probably claps him.

What Doomslayer needs is hax.

He really needs hax if anyone wants to bump him to tier 1 and not just make him an immediate laughing stock like xeno goku used to be for 2-A

Although many videogame characters do get downplayed by obvious game mechanics (that argument is still going strong unfortunately), like I mentioned before RPG characters usually get the worst downplay among the different (combat applicable) genres due to how heavily player dependent they are and the out-dated argument that canon lore/statements can't be used because "games aren't stories".

If we go by how the Monitor Sphere works and some implications from the former crackhead Grant Morrison, the Thought Robot is meant to be the literal idea of Superman manifest in the highest plane of existence in the DCU

Agreed

I have a couple of small examples:

- Mirai (Beyond the Boundary) is only put at Building Level, despite the fact that BtB is tantamount to a city-sized pocket dimension, complete with it's own weather systems and all. Members of EpicLinkSam's server put together a txt on her best feats, which I will link here (idk a better way to link txts, sue me)

- Jr./Rubedo (Xenosaga). This one is subject to change (especially with the likeability of the Xenosaga pages being remade in the near future with the buzz around KOS-MOS recently) partly because I'm only halfway into II, but I bring this up because I bought his place up in VS to Enel, and he said he couldn't think of much because URTV's are specifically anti U-DO. I'm far enough into the series to confirm that between scaling to Albedo and the nature of the verse, this isn't really the case.

Goddamn i hate the us military in battleboards i made a post about in r/characterrant about some users disagreed i responded to one that saying goku would survive nuclear radiation but someone responds and disagreed and i deleted the post about it ****

I remember a thread in /tg/ and some posts in reddit talking about how weapon technology in WW2 is equivalent with that of Warhammer 40k...

Haven't they ever heard of Exterminatus? I didn't know the WW2 arc of The Real World had planet level feats.

I didn't know that in WW2 we had interstellar travel, had bombs that would wipe out planets, armor that could no-sell take tank rounds, and viruses that literally ate all organic material they touched. I need to brush up on my history I guess.

obviously nukes can wipe out planets after all the US could destroy the world several times over

I'm pretty sure a sizable chunk of the Imperium of Man individually wise have planet to solar system level characters so even a single individual on that level solos WW2

Yeah whoever said that has no idea how powerful the Imperium is. Also those planet-solar system characters are going to get downgraded eventually after siege of terra but even then they're going to be at least like tier 7.
