Most downplayed character, in your opinion

I already saw SB saying that xenomorphs cannot conquer our world, even though they already have a feat of conquering a much more advanced world than ours.
they also don't understand how xenos hunt and operate.
 
I mean, yeah. A Hypersonic 8-B with flight has a decent shot at soloing humanity yet we see stuff like Imperium of Man vs the US.
 
How doesn't the Imperium solo? They have technology from the 41st century and can do such crazy shit with magic and science and stuff that any modern military couldn't stand up to them
 
Seriously, I have no idea why people would wank the military of all things. Like, humanity would be screwed by Pokemon much less stuff like the Imperium and their Solar System level jocks.

How strong are general Space Marines or the overall standard military of the Imperium? Cause I doubt you'll need these jocks to do serious damage
 
I've seen people argue superman would lose to the us military, using that time he almost died to a nuke in tdkr as evidence.

Seriously though, seeing some stuff be higher tiers than I expected makes me feel less surprised that people are that tier, seems people haven't realised that and I started using VS Debating forums at the start of this year and made an account at december.
 
On that note, nukes in general are wanked to hell. Even ignoring "nukes can blow up the planet" nonsense, people think that the US is way more willing to use nukes than it actually is.

I'm still salty about when Blue claimed the US military could solo Thanos. Even with the downgrades at the time that wasn't true.

It was IIRC. Still, I think I remember that even I disagreed with him heavily in that thread.
 
MCU top tiers had just gotten nerfed to 7-B at the time, so Blue was throwing a hissy fit and went around voting against Thanos and trying to spite him, even in matches where he was winning (him claiming that All Might could "suffocate him with air manipulation" springs to mind). Blue's argument was that the US could just nuke him. Ignoring, you know, speed, the Infinity Gauntlet, durability, that being OOC for the US, etc.

He got a temp ban for it and he's long sense cooled down, but it still ticks me off thinking about it
 
I also see dr Manhattan downplayed a lot with people saying he would lose to Captain Atom, but I kinda understand this since Manhattan's limits are left pretty vague in the original comic.
