Sub-Zero had his Unbreakable variation, Scorpion had his Hellfire variation, Quan Chi had his Sorcerer variation (the one with spell circles) and this was all before the events of MKX and the resurrection of the revenants.
 
I feel like MK9 had a lot of better things than MKX.

MKX is still far from a bad MK game imo, but compared to 9? It pales in a few areas imo.
 
I was expecting it, but i heard that there is stage with a seemingly deceased Goro.
 
THere is, it's in Jade's reveal.

Honestly though I'm not sure that means he's dead since Tsung's Isla d is about the same.

I think they should have this abilities, Interesting if Jade green energy are some connections to Cages green energies in mk nrs lore (but im think no)
 
Maybe it's the same with Kahn (Actually what if Kahn is either the God the war cult was intended to fight or he was a founding member)
 
Bro do you know how much crap is Sonya filled with? She's fighting people wayyyyy above her level and these guys could easily kill her with their powers. It would've been better if she sticks to beating up lesser characters like Black Dragon members (except tremor) or some Outworld/Netherrealm fodders

Quan Chi, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Tremor, do you really think Sonya has a chance against these guys? Yikes.
 
Honestly though I could say the same for Cage (The MK movies had the right idea with making him not too strong but capable)

Yep, here Goro helps break down a mystically enhanced door with Shao Kahn and Shang Tsung they seemingly could not alone.

There's also the fact that Goro was able to kill Great Kung Lao (Who beat the Low 7-C Tsung canonically) and it took Liu Kang to beat him. After that Kintaro was able to fight Kang on even grounds fromk what I know so this should support an upgraded Kintaro (This may upgrade Lao but I think MK 4 is an outlier all things considered)
 
Goro's only AP justification is him killing a 9-A GKL but he actually fought on par with Taven who was Low 7-C as well so I agree with him being Low 7-C too besides the other reasons given.
