Greetings! This is my very first Post and i wanted to start by finding the Ultimate Pear reviewed answer for a tournament i was making
Here are the Rules:
Takes Place in Shao Kahns Kolosseum at Midday
2 on 2 tournament
Teams are all in character, and only know what they canonically know about everyone else, or what can easily be assumed IE Sans is a skeleton, Kratos has an axe, etc
Victory is gained by either team killing both of the other team, while keeping both on theirs alive, by both of the losing team losing consciousness, or by both members of the losing team agreeing to give up, going into the losers bracket automatically
We are going to have a winners bracket and losers bracket, at the end the winner of both will face each other, and after that, the 2 members of the winning team face each other
Speed Unequaled
Shao Kahn is a dick, so he also screws with either team if its not entertaining enough (as he does in MK9 Challenge 300)
ROUND 1
Team Raiden: Raiden (Mortal Kombat, Dark Raiden Tier) and Raiden (Metal Gear, MGRR Tier, he has all equipment he would reasonably normally have at the end of a typical MGRR mission, there is a box on the field with all his other equipment anyone can claim)
VS
Team Angry Angst: Yang Xiao Long (RWBY, Post Atlas Tier, has all normal and optional equipment, Full Aura, well rested) and Katsuki Bakugo (My Hero Academia,Final War Arc, Full hero Costume)
both teams are given 60 seconds to plan with their partner, teams start off 125 feet away from each other, at each end of the Arena
Motivation wise, Raiden (MK) is told his victory would grant permanent peace to Earthrealm, Raiden (MG) is told he would gain a fully peaceful life with Rose, Yang is told she would regain her Arm, Beacon, Summer Rose, and Raven, all as one nice family with Ruby and her dad. Bakugo is told he would be come the Number 1 hero
