Cinder Fall grumbles under her breath as she makes her way through the the desolate landscape to the source of the shockwaves she heard, her mistress having ordered her to investigate the colossal power surges in the wastelands. She was to bring whatever or whoever was responsible to heel and deliver them to Salem, but frankly she felt that this was a waste of her time. "If a power rivalling the Maidens existed, it would have popped up by now", she muttered. Her complaints were interrupted by a massive beast slamming clean through the rock outcrop next to her.
Hm. Never mind then. This may be a problem.
Xue Ying twisted his spear and shook off the blood on it while observing his surrounding. While trying to escape the Sea Deity Palace, he ended falling through a spatial tear to this strange place. Sensing another being, he looked downwards and saw the woman making her way to him. His thoughts of asking her for information ceased when he saw her get into a combative stance. Sighing, he readied his spear. If nothing else, he can beat the information out of her.
Mortal Knight Xue Ying and Post-Beacon Cinder Fall are used. Cinder has her Fall Maiden powers. Speed is equalized. Battle takes place in a rocky wasteland.
