Kurome, absolutely nothing. But her puppets can do shit. Every time Meruem eats someone he gains everything they had and doubles his power by their IIRC. Imagine if he ate Su-san and gained his regen. Or entire verse besides her. Would be tough opponent.

Destiny: I guess he can take out some fodder through superior stats, but he can't gain any of the more potent hax in the verse through eating people, so as soon as he gets to someone who is slightly more powerful he gets stomped.

Mob Psycho 100: He beats everyone through superior stats except ???% Mob, but since he starts at the weakest and works his way up he may be powerful enough to fight Mob at that point.

Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ke: He can take on some of the lower tiers, but gets haxxed to death by most characters.

Bionicle: He wins against most of the characters, but people like the Makuta simply mind hax him.

That proves that Reiryoku gives resistance outside of the amount of it/tiering, it's just that the comparable or stronger characters have equal or better Reiryoku.
Can't remember much of Nen's details, but people like Neferpitou were able to induce a crippling fear and even accelerate aging process to one of Netero's assistants in the invasion. Meruem did so against Welfin as well, to the point of making him lose all his hair.

The pseudo-deathhax is that if a Nen user hits you when using aura and you don't block with a similar aura output, you get destroyed on contact (it's more like Dura Negation rather than Death hax [unless that's not the one I'm talking about]).

No it doesn't. Nothing in the series implies that and the notion was rejected. In fact, it suggests that the ability has a caveat of not working on stronger people.

Pretty sure this again falls under the "more ki more resistance" and "more reiryoku more resistance" thing. Anyone having similar energy system after verse equalization would be able to block it with their aura.

Elfen Lied: Elfen Lied vs. Meruem might as well be Lucy vs. Meruem because Nana & Mariko are irrelevant fodder compared to the two of them. But even then, Lucy stomps him as the power gap's too large. FAIL

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Should do fine against everyone except for GER Giorno. FAIL

Mother Series: TOTU pretty much dupes him of any chance of beating the verse. Should do okay against Lucas and Ninten, but Ness stomps him. FAIL

MCU: If only he could defeat Dormmammu... As long as he defeats all characters below Thanos, he can take on Thanos, though. FAIL

Prototype: Alex farts and Meruem dies. And he can't absorb Alex and co. So he gets stomped. FAIL

Sonic: Yikes. FAIL

Nasuverse: He can deal with normal mages easy, until he finds Shirou or Rin with jewels. Then he's in trouble. Magic also relies on the soul and on having magical circuits, so nothing for him to gain from eating. Servants slap him so hard it isn't very funny. The magicians make a mockery of him. The Types won't likely even realize he's there and the Beasts destroy him with a mean stare.

Naruto: Would the lack of a chakra circulatory system do much...? Well, let's assume the nen stuff is similar since both even have nodes through which chakra exists. If it was beginning Naruto, then he may have a chance. He's smart and durable enough to deal with Naruto, and from the point he can start making clones things get dicey. He still likely gets ****** by Itachi mindhax no matter what he does. Shippuden, he's outgunned but Nen Crush helps him, until he likely hits a wall again with Genjutsu. He's not touching the top tiers though - like, these dudes could battle the whole ninja world at once and win.

Solo Leveling: He completely destroys everyone until the MC. Poison ain't gonna do a thing, but Nen Crush could. He still has to deal with an army of constantly regenerating enemies that keep all their skills. I think he ends up becoming a Jin Woo Shadow Soldier.

Hardcore Leveling Warrior: Low level players are absolute fodder. But no matter who he eats, he gets completely destroyed by Rank 1 HLW.

Nen's Defenses against its own hax aren't even Nen specific. Typically, unless you're absurdly powerful, people can shield themselves from these effects by using their aura to shroud and protect themselves. Literally how Gon and Killua were able to get passed Hisoka. Dragon Ball's Ki— and verse that has similar energy and mechanics— such as shrouding themselves in their aura energy whilst fighting should be unaffected by that trait. Because that's the weakness of "Nen Crush." When Zushi used it on Killua, and when Wing did it, he was affected by it because of Killua not having aura shrouding him. This is the stated purpose of Ten.

But me saying this is absolute nonsense, yeah? Because even though we know the verse, we're gonna pretend that Nen CRUSH is somehow an absolutely caveatless thing that has no stated defense that is replicated in other verses. Even though the literal defense to this is "Cover yourself in your energy, and maybe you'll be ok unless they're way stronger and scarier or they have feats or something wild" like it is in the actual verse, we're gonna act like this hax is totally it's own thing and works the same way as any hax of the same type does, rather than as Nen does in the verse.

Ugh.

Double's, OOO's and Wizard's, Fourze got some good hax but i cannot sure if they can kill Alex.

Drive: I still not done watching it but there is planetary ice freezing and stuff but not too sure about it.

Ghost: Ghost Rider's are Non-Corporeal because they are... well, ghost. He either get possessed or get BFR'ed to Hell.

Ex-Aid: They faced even worst. Meruem get infected by some random virus and got erased. That or Cronos stop time and reset.

Build: Same as Drive. I still not finished watching this but there is alot of good hax if i remember correctly.

When you use Nen, you can CHOOSE, as demonstrated by Wing, to send your emotions, specifically your malice and bloodlust, through your Aura, and if you DON'T cover yourself in Ten, which is an anime life spirit energy aura shroud thing, you could even die... It occurs when you send your murderous intent through your aura towards an opponent not shielded by Aura. Every other example of this happening to people who DID have Aura shrouding then was because their foe was so ******* strong, and so ******* inhuman, that they were scared because of those two things PLUS ther aura likely overpowering their shrouds, because of their power. This is a common intimidation tactic in the verse, flaring your power and malice to make yourself seem strong or like you're gonna hurt them. Zushi, despite being weaker than Killua without Aura use, scared Killua with his use of Ren with a violent intent. Killua was, again, WITHOUT AURA at the time, so he couldn't defend himself.

This technique isn't resisted by any inherent powers of the user, aside from their Ten and perhaps just regular bravery if they still feel fear. Like what happened when Gon and Killua met pitou. Killua was terrified along with Gon, who was still willing to swap hands, especially after Kite lost his arm! Killua, likely because he's been always smart about his fear, was able to knock Gon out and take him away, while Gon flared his Aura, ready to die in battle. It's not some magic resistance like Killua is immune to poison. It's them defending against the effect with their shroud, and being brave... Honestly, they shouldn't even have general fear resistance because of how the power works only related to Nen, and not anything else outside of it.

But whatever.
