MCU Phase 5 General Discussion Thread

Question? Would Surtur qualify for Types 3 & 8 Immortality:

Immortality via regeneration: Characters with this type of immortality can simply regenerate from wounds that would normally be lethal, though its effectiveness depends on the degree of the regeneration.

Reliant Immortality: The character gets benefited by 1 or more other types of Immortality as long as a certain being, object, place, and/or concept or more may grant them those benefits, losing them otherwise.

The object/s being:
• Surtur's Crown (Seems to contain Surtur's essence whenever he's "killed")
• Eternal Flame (Something to kickstart the revival process, and the regeneration of Surtur's body)

Pre-Awakening Thor would also scale, and then every 6-B character becomes High 6-B+

The damage that he did to Surtur's crown also seems near-negligible

It's rather doubtful that the hammer couldn't destroy Captain America shield But Thanos sword can destroy, why is it lower than the hammer? It should be equal or more and Wanda she can destroy Thanos sword she should only get H6-B or because out of all you gave her, only far higher key mom I think she should get more than that? or no

Wouldn't this also apply to the Mark 50 Iron Man?

It's AP did negligible damage to Thanos, and mostly staggered and knocked back Cull Obsidian. Cull was even able to tank close range energy blasts from the Mark 85.

It's Durability is easily compromised by Thanos crushing the helmet, and direct punches to the helmet from Thanos break off pieces of it, even punches to the helmet being blocked still manage to damage the helmet.

It's shield on the other hand can take a hit from Cull's hammer, and endure a continuous blast from the Power Stone. Whereas the suit got practically one shot by a single blast.

Quite surprised since she destroy Double-Bladed Sword Thanos to be H6-B+ why shouldn't she be higher than it?

Then you didn't watch properly.

The sword took multiple magical blasts from her. Then when she was struggling against Thanos, her magic was causing cracks to appear on the blade, which enabled her to break it with one more magical blast.
