If we had that extra run time, I feel like we could have had the Thanos vs Ultron battle, Odin vs Ultron and have some of the "okay then, this just happened" further explored so it wasn't as anti-climatic or having plot holes. I knew that 30 mins would make things be slightly rushed from the start.

I feel the stuff worked for what was needed; quick lil vignettes that establish in a timely fashion just how bad Supreme Ultron is
I do wish they had him kill Thanos by phasing and not lasers tho

That's a feat, not PE. Calcing the amount of energy it takes to destroy the Milky Way if fine, it's just that getting PE from a giant form isn't allowed anymore iirc.

This. I wish they would have taken more time building up tension rather than using Thanos as a plot device for Ultron getting all 6 infinity stones.

Thanos is basically the worf now, the character established before as ubber strong and turned into a weaklin to show just how dangerous the new threat is. Kind of upset to for him (and also for Ego and not seeing a battle against Odin or Hela for example) but the episode was so good I can forgive that
