Remind me why did Merc get all grumpy in the three colours ending? He says that the script going off rails was what he wanted, and then he says he doesn't like that ending and that Rein and Ren should just get off the stage now they've played their part.

Actually, what changed between Marie route and Three Colours to make Rein go from being completely chill about Merc being god and just going to fight Ren while Merc stayed with Marie, and Rein deciding to fight Merc as well?

IIRC in Rea's route Rein realize his nature as Merc Aposotis and Ren set up for him to fight Merc from the get-go unlike Marie route where he have a full battle with him.

In Marie Route after Rein realized Merc nature, he said he wanted to challenge Merc instead but since he already chooses Ren as his opponent that meant he already missed his chance with Merc. It's more along the lines of Rein being humble and respcting his on going battle with Ren

This is an important plot point, Jesus. Thanks to Valeria, Reinhard acknowledges Isaak and also, thanks to this, he also acknowledges the fact that he held Karl to a different standard. This being inconsistent with his Craving, which sees everyone as equal subjects to be equally loved. So he decides to correct this by making Snake taste his love.

It's funny because the reason Rein lost his match with Rem in Marie route was because he didn't acknowledge his son which allowed Rea to to empty his souls stuck, if they gone the same process except with Rein acknowledging his son then Keomono-dono would have won

Also, the best male characters is between Shirou and Kemono-dono. Best girl is Beatrice though <3

In Reas route merc reset it and went back when reinahrd was a young boy and suddenly he returned to the long haired one and three of them battled
