Before I forget, here's (in my opinion) the ideal order of the games in terms of story after CoM: 2, 358/2 Days, Birth by Sleep, Dream Drop Distance, 2.8, Black Cover (it's basically a movie you'll get in the 2.8 compilation) 3, ReMind

If other people interested in this disagree, tell me

Vexen and Larxene weren't the strongest tbh, Vexen in particular isn't spectacular. Lexaeus was very strong but only physically and not in terms of greater power. Marluxia on the other hand is an entirely different matter, he's the third most powerful member of the Organization and honestly his fight against Sora is one of the best in the series

Damm then I guess axel must be pretty high up then since he could clash with marluxia

Just beat zexion(sone what similar to marluxia in terms of taking cards away still pretty cool) and Riku has imbrassed the darknesses. Still pretty weird that he was technically darkside and namnie showing up for a sec in the light(I guess it makes sone sense seeing as she’s supposed to be Kari’s “shadow” or whatever)

KH1 was a good intro into the franchise with a pretty interesting story, with the heartless and concepts of light and darkness. But in terms of characters most of the villains were p mid for the most part(expect hades cuz of his voice) which is manly do to the lack of full on cutscenes with them I think. Ansem on the other hand is a pretty good villain with an interesting back story. In terms the main cast sora and his bois(Donald and goofy) are pretty much you generic shouen protagonists. Being head strong and doing what’s right and all that. It’s not bad pre say but you’ve kinda seen it before. But I’m not gonna be to harsh cuz he has a lot of time to grow. Riku is pretty cool though, opening the door of darkness for a life of adventure and throughing away destiny island. And then being manipulated to fight sora only to realize his mistakes and try and make up for it by closing kingdom hearts with him in. Kari is mid though. The game play was pretty good, being able to go from “ooga booga imma hit you with a giant key” to “imma wombo combo you into oblivion” is pretty fun. The best part (to me atleast) is being able to change and upgrade your keyblade making it look a lot cooler(depending on the keychain) though my one problem with the system is that you also need to equip stuff just to block or dodge. Taking up room to be used for combo’s and other abilities. Other then that I’d say it was a pretty good game, a nice 8/10

KHCoM is interesting to say the least so I’ll just cut the chase. The story is great for both sora and Riku and the new characters a both fun and intriguing. The gameplay is hit or miss. It can be fun to fight enemies and bosses and feel like your kinda on a even playing field and being able to pull off sone powerful sleights but that changes when boss start spamming sleights like no tomorrow and have lvl 9 restoring cards on deck. The retreading of the Disney worlds are also pretty bad, basically being filler with no new desgins with the expection of castle oblivion and twlight town which are only accessible near the end of the game. Riku’s gameplay was a bit of a saving with his d-mode and dueling mechanics. Overall the game was a 7/10 for me

On the 5th day and I gotta say si far things are confusing as hell. Apparently roxas is somehow connected to sora and Kari and was in the organization along with being friends with axel. Apparently ansem and DiZ are working together, and namnie is here trying to help me or something. Also that first boss battle was kinda crazy
You'll learn everything soon my dear (and it's even more confusing and complicated than that)

Got to twlight tower and meet Pete’s dumbass. Kinda confused on how he can travel to other worlds after sora and the gang separated them in 1. Also don’t know why Pete was rambling on about maleficent when it’s implied he already knew something happened to her

Pete looks ridiculous (and is) but he's much stronger than what you see at first. He has surprisingly good control over the Darkness, enough that he can control entire legions of Heartless without being overcome or corrupted (something some of the strongest characters in the entire franchise cannot boast about) and can open portals of Darkness to travel between worlds. He's kind of ridiculous but there's much more to him than it seems at first. As for his rambling, he didn't know Maleficent had been defeated but haven't seen her for a while wich to him is weird considering her lust for power and objectives
