Mario VS Goku

By punching him over and over and outlasting KK? Hitting him with a hammer? Goku's only adavantage here is KK.

It isn't even a x2 difference dude, and with Kaio-Ken - Goku gets the AP advatange.
 
KK is a momentary boost and has painful drawback. It doesn't clutch a win by itself. It was never the deciding factor in a W for Goku in the series.
 
He won against Vegeta thanks to KK tho.

Also, the third and fourth ones are painful, the others are easy to mantain for him.

Why would Goku just allow himself to get hit with a hammer, or punched over and over again?

The difference of Goku using Kaio-Ken is greater than the difference between Mario and Base Goku.

Goku: 6.4 foe

Mario: 8 foe.

8/6.4 = 1.25

6.4 x 2 = 12.8

12.8/8 = 1.6


By your logic, I can say that Goku beats Mario to death with the AP advatage.

The strain form Kaio-Ken comes from the difficulty of being able to control in the increase in one's Ki, it is not an inherent strain from the ability. The better one is at mainting their Ki, the less of strain that there is. That's why in Super, Goku is able to spam Kaio-Ken x20, since he is used to that amount of increase in Ki by that point.

Goku in the Saiyan Saga was able to spam the regular Kaio-Ken constantly throughout his fight with Vegeta. It kept him alive.


This is Namek Saga Goku who is able using Kaio-Ken x10 during out his fight with Frieza and forced himself to use Kaio-Ken x20 - using just normal Kaio-Ken should have little to no strain at all.


Goku always fought beings monstrously stronger than himself, he needed Kaio-Ken to survive fighting them, not to beat them - the same isn't the case here.
 
The AP advantage is negligible both ways. And Goku doesn't even normally start out with Kaio Ken. And Mario's much more apt to use his hax than Goku, who is more of a brawler while Mario actually uses some of his hax. He can also just make any damage Goku does null with the Guard Shell DX.
 
KKBx20 gave Goku a disease and Goku said it probably would've killed him if one, God ki didn't give him some sort of regenerative properties and two, he didn't perfect it.

It was still hurting him throughout all the matches. Goku's just good at fighting through the pain. Doesn't make getting hit after KK wears off not hurt like a b****.

That is a lot to take in...Honestly, I'm kind of wondering of what realistic way Goku is supposed to win. He seems like he's gotta get haxstomped...
 
He uses all of the passive powers, elemental manipulation, size manipulation, time manipulation, etc. Some of the powers vary in terms of use because they are a part of RPG games.

Doesn't Mario's Elemental manipulation and Size Manipulation come from different power-ups (Fire Flower and Super Mushroom)?

I thought there was a rule saying no power-ups?

I don't think they're power-ups. All of them are under his 'Base' tab while the 'Power-Ups' have their own tab. I'd assume they're from his various equipment or natural powers of his.

If that the truth, I guess.

But doesn't Mario normally just run around and jump on people? Throw in a punch and/or dive every other game and such.

That's the Mario I've always known.

You mean the main Mario series? You know, the place where Mario's character is formed and established?

Why would we use side series as the basis for Mario's arsenal and mindset in a fight? That's like saying Mario will kick Goku with a soccer ball because that's what he does in Mario Strikers.
