Gon probably has somewhat better stats and, from what I imagine a Dora story to be like, probably a better fighter.

Yeah, ehm, Gon surpassed Dora is most categories (if not everything, aside of intelligence), would even argue that Gon stomp if it weren't for the minor possibility to be stabbed.

I'm not sure if Dora could even hit him. His senses are pretty acute and I'm pretty sure he's way stronger physically. Like, he could probably knock her out in one or two hits. And if he has his fishing rod, he also has a range advantage. He slightly scratched an 8-A+ with it, although to be fair Hisoka probably wasn't using Nen.

Giving her prep would do nothing thanks to Gon'se senses. Giving her prior knowledge would let her know that her only shot to really take him out was the knife, so she'd be more likely to use her only wincon. It wouldn't make this fair, but would probably take this from something like a <1% chance to a something like a 5% chance.

Against pretty much anyone else in the bracket, throwing them into a forest or jungle would give her an advantage, but Gon is even better with those environments than she is.
