Here is the only statement that compares MUI Goku to Beerus. It's stated that MUI Goku 'might' have surpassed Beerus while in the movie it's said Broly is 'probably' stronger than Beerus. People might think there's barely a difference but there is. "Might" would means it's only possible while "probably" would mean most certainly. (Think of it as might being 50/50 while probably is 80%-90%).

INB4 someone brings up the arm wrestling to imply Jiren > Belmod > Beerus. Whis was just messing with Beerus and Whis had literally no idea what universe had that super strong Mortal because it was a rumor. He found out the truth during the TOP.

If Goku has not seen Beerus at Full Power, then the Half 2-C feat was displayed by a suppressed Beerus, which Goku was present for and regardless how much Champa put out, that would mean anyone above Base Jiren, including Beerus, should be 2-C.

If Goku did witness Beerus' FP then Broly would accurately scale to Beerus and Gogeta would be more than 2x Broly's power due to the large AP Gap that Broly's reactive power was not able to close.

i would just drop this argument all together. the anime went out of its way to be vauge about jirens power, the only thing being known that he is stronger than his god. maybe a beerus to jiren comoarison was never made by toriyama.

Yeah I always found it funny that a lot of people spoke as if Jiren>>Beerus was a confirmed fact, but in reality the show never said anything concrete or even made a proper comparison between them.

Could Jiren be stronger than Beerus? Yeah, it's possible. But we just don't know for sure, and can only speculate at the end of the day.

this is the problem. while its a fact, it is a fact that is made through shitty writing. why retcon him to be stronger when you literally have infinite possibilities for stronger foes, and there are beings that are actually stronger than beerus, so why keep him safe?

i really hate that about him.
