They were able to shrug off Fawful's kind controlling gas until he applied his strongest mind controlling spray. That's...kinda it. Should upscale to Bowser and Junior as it seems like a general top tier Koopa thing.

Well don't forget that their ability to resist even the stronger stuff is due to their willpower as minions (according to cap goomba who fully resisted it). Unless if you're talking about bowser jr quest which also showcases Morton breaking out of it (albeit after a while). Overall I can agree with this
