Just a small general discussion about Touhou, Keine to be specific.

What do you think would her ability of "Eating and creating history" do for her in battle?

By eating history she removed the human village from being noticed by normal beings (aka not yukari beings). So would creating history be something like Illusion creation?

Or is an application liek actually changing history, and by that actually changing the present world actually possible?

I am just curious for opinions on that (maybe a profile creation for her will follow).

Eating in this sense actually means it conceals (not removes) history from the people/youkai/outside viewers memories.

While creating history is not something like "hurr, I removed the history that you were born in the past and I create a new history so you are a tier 0 guy now". Pretty much it just create an illusion like you said.

Perfect Memento in Strict Sense mentioned that the Hieda clan's history is above Keine's powers, and is thus not "hers".

Yeah, Yukari saw through this without a problem, Alice directly said that she had no time for humans (even though she knew that Keine is not human) - so it's more like illusion.

Agree to above, the type of "History" that Keine deal with is the book variety, or the "History is write by the winner" type. "Eating and Creating History" should be the youkai equivalent of writting a mental history book.


...In other word though, she would still be pretty badass for normal human, as she could at least "write" a town out of existence
