Juvia vs Glaceon

Boiling water doesn't freeze at -75 degrees, it evaporates into water vapor then very quickly condenses in the cold air as a cloud of visible "steam" (micro-droplets of water) which then very quickly freezes into a dust cloud of tiny ice crystals, because they are so small. The actual boiling water does not freeze.

Lets not be rude Vel ovo.

It may be semantics (plus lol fiction is a thing) but Henry hasn't done anything wrong by explaining.

Conquest and PHD skills arent game mechanics they're legitimate abilities. Calling an ability from from a game a game mechanic doesn't automatically make it one.

Mirror Coat and Barrier will also be stupidly good against Juvia's moveset
1st. Game mechanics are methods invoked by agents designed for interaction with the game state, thus providing gameplay. All games use mechanics.

2nd. Barrier will not help as it only defends from physical attack which Juvia will not be using and Mirror Coat will only work against Juvia's damaging attacks not Water Lock and while you could argue that Glaceon could just freeze the Water Lock causing it to shatter and then throw up Mirror Coat to defend against Juvia's offensive attacks if she uses Sierra to move faster it will allow her to hit Glaceon with Water Slicer, Water Jigsaw, Water Nebula, Water Cyclone, Wings of Love or Water Claw.

Also, is kinda weird that Glaceon can walk on water, and Hail is just like an ult for Glaceon at this point

Water Slicer and Water Claw sound pretty physical to me.

Also to clarify, I'm voting Glaceon

So....Grace already started long ago.

Also its water based, right? so it can be froze.

Also i might gonna make The Fool Arcana Aigis vs Glaceon, is that good?

I would also like to point out that Fairy Tail and to a lesser extent Pokemon, do obey the laws of physics, science and reality. Also do you know how long it takes to freeze water in a regular freezer? A regular freezer is 0F and it takes 3-4 hours to freeze water, to actually freeze boiling water it would take even longer as the water first has to cool down from a minimum of 212F to a minimum of 32F to start freezing. Also because Glaceon has to passively aka slowly, lower it's body temperature to -75 degrees, the amount of time it would take to first lower it's temp and then lower the temperature of the water means it's going to take a very long time to freeze it which means it going to be doing some damage and possibly getting a burn in the mean while.

It is not once implied that Glaceon has to lower its body temperature over time, hell even in the statements that it is said to lower its body temperature its stated to do so mid-combat as a response to attacks implying its instant

Pretty sure one of Glaceon's dex entries literally says its instantaneous too

Anyway, all of the votes for Glaceon steam from the fact that Ice-type attacks can freeze the opponent and that's it, no other reason. So the two things that need to be know is, 1 it this win by incap, knock out or death and two excluding the freezing what advantages does Glaceon have to beat Juvia?

1: By SBA, all of them are fair game

2: She only needs one advantage to win. But Glaceon does have a big range advantage and likely the AP advantage as well

Technically Juvia can accidentally freeze herself if she even touches Glaceon due to Glaceon's Frostbite ability

  • Water Slicer: By swiping their arm, the user sends scythe-like blades of water at their intended target, which are powerful enough to cleanly slice through solid rock. It can also be used as a form of defense to intercept an attack.
  • Water Claw: The user slashes their water-covered hands, creating a torrent of water that engulfs their target.
