Jujutsu Kaisen Discussion Page #1

When I say expresses I mean it conveys to us an amp, not that it is 1 to 1. And again for like the fifth time, the 120% can't be displayed through everything that comes with BF's amp so we can't apply the 120 to output, it is quality that is amped not quantity.
Here's the problem, while sure you might not be able to apply an exact value to something arbitrary like skill or potential, you can do it with output because the output of something is a specific amount or percentage of value. So in the case of output the increase would infact be quantitive not qualitive
You're picking what can gain from applying the 120% but this then ignores the idea that potential itself is what's amped altogether, not everything that goes into potential is amped individually.
Then like I've said for the fifth time the increase in output would actually be less than 20% since it's only a part of the overall potential increase
Being Grade 1 doesn't display to us the mathematical difference of a Grade 2, its meant to convey the quality of the sorcerers for example.
In many Isekai's characters can be at level 20, be city level and a level 30 can be country level for example.
The difference is that grades and levels are meant to indicate a vague increase but something like 120% is an actual specific value

The 120% isn't meant to be literal, it just expresses to us the qualitative jump.
My most genuine, honest, true, real reaction to that information

Idk man I'd say giving us an exact value for the increase is pretty literal
Yeah if they said "right now their output is increased to 120%" then I'd say that's literal. But they didn't, its potential. Notice how for Nanami's ot Gege uses the word output but for BF its potential?

Yea because Nanami's binding vow is specifically affecting his output while BF increases all aspects of Jujutsu

I updated Ryu's Granite Blast calc and it went from ~2ish kilotons to 3.5

I refuse to believe this is not vaporization. We see steam from the crater, from near the crater or from farther away, from Ryu's hair (where the blast comes from) and it burns Yuta's fingers and it burns Rika's hands.

It's the most obvious vaporization case since idk, Naruto's TBB attacks.

That's it, I'm making a calc rule banning the calcing of JJK feats above 8-A.

**** it, the distance is actually much higher because that's where Miwa is:

This is more or less the distance:

~470m in total

Can you do these? Especially the 191 one.
Chapter 151, Naoya in his first fight with Maki launches her through several cliff-sides with a single kick it appears.

Chapter 191, Naoya as a curse womb smashes maki through several buildings, a decent chunk of ground, and into another cliff-side while also releasing a shockwave that launches a bunch of trees and steel things around all in the same attack.

Edit:
And with the chapter 151, it appears like he's violently fragmenting everything he's smashing her through

No no using both should be the solution, using one or another is wrong. A cylinder has a circle as its base and the radius of the circle is the same. In the case of Ryu’s crater the depth is far less than the width.
Oh okay thought you meant using both would be wrong. Also yeah after I sent it I realized technically a cylinder would be a circle so the radius would be the same. I just use cylinder when referring to both it and an elliptic cylinder so I got confused

I had a dream today that a new JJK chapter came out and it was Yuji vs Kashimo and then I dreamt that I went on here and said something like "Gege better not disappoint me with this" at which point I was like "wait a minute the manga is over" and woke up.

My brain can't handle the lack of JJK chapters and is making shit up now help

Exhibit A of JJK fans not reading a second manga /j

Being serious. JJK’s end was def the most sudden I’ve seen for a popular series in a while. Not to say it was bad. So I can’t blame you

**** it. 7 Kilotons. 7-C Special Grades. F.uck you Arkenis.

Bit more random. But if Special grades scale off Ishigori. Shouldn’t everyone except Ishigori have an “At most” behind their rating?
Since Granite Blast chars Yuta over time and Ishigori physically overpowered him in that one physical clash.
Yuta’s strongest attack also being rated as slightly weaker than Granite blast.

Difference between them is so small that it doesn’t matter. We know Yuta’s output is “slightly weaker” than Ryu, being “slightly weaker” than a 7 kilotons dude would still make you 7-C regardless, not at most, not at least, just 7-C.

Ryu only overpowered Yuta at the beginning of the fight before Yuta replenished his reserves. At the end of the fight they pretty much were equal, and Yuta kind of overpowered him in LS.

I respect the different angle, but if we can't get scaling off Kashimo and his EMS waves I don't see us getting it from Angel's CT

🤫 (Big Subsonic conspiracy theories are conspiracy theories that claim that Jujutsu Kaisen supporters, especially former cgm M3X, act in dangerously secretive and sinister ways to keep Jujutsu Kaisen's speed tier as Subsonic. This includes concealing Hypersonic calcs, perhaps even to the point of intentionally bribing Gege to add in Mach 3 Naoya to the manga, in the pursuit of lower speed ratings and/or other nefarious goals. The other supporters supposedly live in a state of ignorance, according to such claims)
