Jujutsu Kaisen Discussion Page #1

When I say expresses I mean it conveys to us an amp, not that it is 1 to 1. And again for like the fifth time, the 120% can't be displayed through everything that comes with BF's amp so we can't apply the 120 to output, it is quality that is amped not quantity.
Here's the problem, while sure you might not be able to apply an exact value to something arbitrary like skill or potential, you can do it with output because the output of something is a specific amount or percentage of value. So in the case of output the increase would infact be quantitive not qualitive
You're picking what can gain from applying the 120% but this then ignores the idea that potential itself is what's amped altogether, not everything that goes into potential is amped individually.
Then like I've said for the fifth time the increase in output would actually be less than 20% since it's only a part of the overall potential increase
Being Grade 1 doesn't display to us the mathematical difference of a Grade 2, its meant to convey the quality of the sorcerers for example.
In many Isekai's characters can be at level 20, be city level and a level 30 can be country level for example.
The difference is that grades and levels are meant to indicate a vague increase but something like 120% is an actual specific value

The 120% isn't meant to be literal, it just expresses to us the qualitative jump.
My most genuine, honest, true, real reaction to that information

Idk man I'd say giving us an exact value for the increase is pretty literal
Yeah if they said "right now their output is increased to 120%" then I'd say that's literal. But they didn't, its potential. Notice how for Nanami's ot Gege uses the word output but for BF its potential?

Yea because Nanami's binding vow is specifically affecting his output while BF increases all aspects of Jujutsu

I updated Ryu's Granite Blast calc and it went from ~2ish kilotons to 3.5

I refuse to believe this is not vaporization. We see steam from the crater, from near the crater or from farther away, from Ryu's hair (where the blast comes from) and it burns Yuta's fingers and it burns Rika's hands.

It's the most obvious vaporization case since idk, Naruto's TBB attacks.

That's it, I'm making a calc rule banning the calcing of JJK feats above 8-A.
