Megumi's arsenal honestly would've been top 3 and its insane we will never get to see Barrier-less Shadow domain control spanning across all of Tokyo and creating massive totality shikigamis. This guy has a ct use in domain better than having it be a sure hit, multiple shikigamis to clone, Mahoraga summon if shit gets bad, totality when two die, and then he's got hand to hand. All he needs is rct and larger ce reserve.

Well, the Kamo family is allied with all the main cast (given it's led by Noritoshi Kamo), the last remaining people of the Zenin family are members of the main cast (Maki and Megumi), and the new shadow style school is led by a member of the main cast (Kusakabe), so the Gojo clan (who possess no CT nor allies) will just get steelrolled if they try to go through with their rebellion plan and the main cast can sort of establish peace through implied force just by existing. Hence why in chapter 270 everything seems to be going fine.

Thats the problem, you need to assume way too much and basically make a conclusion for yourself. I think its just sad to not develop further that conflict

Grade 2 Curses are canonically shotgun victims if CE wasn't required to damage them, so if you focus on the lower scales of the verse you could legitimately make Farmer With Shotgun into a viable Jujutsu Sorcerer.

In this case I think it's fine to leave some things to the reader, although Gege inconsistently chose that decision for certain plot points, I think the ending chapters definitely were rushed in that sense (in large part due to the guidelines of WSJ).

I don't think this statement was literal, more so just an analogy to compare the power gap between ranks on average. The level of destruction we see from lower grade curses, the struggle of the military against low grade sorcerers in the Culling Games, and the context of the statement (with it even being said to be "for dummies"), I wouldn't put much stake in it.

Weren't the weaker Culling Game players easily dealt with via firearms? The ones who were immune to everything the army had were probably like Grade 2 Sorcerer level (which is somewhat close to a Grade 1 Curse, which makes them at least comparable to a tank). The destructive feats also aren't on the scale where them being able to be injured by shotguns is inconsistent, given Tier 9 characters actually aren't often portrayed as bulletproof in general.

Most of the Culling Game players just learned Cursed Energy, so they barely know anything about body reinforcement or any basic technique. So except if you are Higuruma, who is a genius, or Takaba, which has a passive CT, you're almost just a average human

The old system and their ways are dead.
That was the point of the New Shadow chapter.
To fully show that the kids can and should be allowed to have their future and the old conservatives who manipulated and used them are no longer in positions of power.

I like to imagine most of the soldiers just straight up died against the cursed spirits Kenjaku sent after them for his whole pre-merger plan and only a few were saved by people like Hana considering the soldiers literally lacked the firepower to take down even a grade 4 curse.

Though yeah would've been nice to see what came out of that. Kenjaku already told other governments about cursed energy and Japan's monopoly of it but who knows. Maybe they just decided it wasn't worth it if all their soldiers died to curses or they saw the Sukuna fight and just assumed it would be better to just not f*ck with guys who can output that much force and speed blitz most guys

And the fact that Maki confirmed that USA in fact kidnapped sorcerers and that Jujutsu High is gonna try to recover them make it sound that these countries are not neutral at all, and if China knows that USA is trying to use Cursed Energy they would DEFINITELY try the same since Japan is in their side

"Sorcerers against the world" just sound way too good to leave without any development. It could even be used to bring Geto's ideals yet again in debate

Honestly considering all the stuff Gege threw away with this ending, I believe that Gojo and the relationship with his students was one of the most memorable but shallow points of the manga.

We know Gojo LOVE his students, he DIED for them and would fight the world to protect them… but I think we were robbed of something special.

I believe the ending should’ve showed how Gojo changed Jujutsu society with education. How the students now decided that they won’t send teenagers to die on missions, that they won’t execute children or even adults based on cursed spirit related stuff, like Yuta or Yuji. I think everyone here have heard of “Dead Poets Society”, great movie btw. This movie shows exactly what I wanted to see from Gojo and his students: Gojo teaching them to think differently from what the higher ups wanted them to think or act. In the end, Gojo may have died, but he ultimately won by achieving his dream and changing lives for the better.

For the record, I'd end the manga showing different periods of time after the Sukuna battle. 1 month, 1 year, 5 years, 10 years... and the impact Gojo's education had on them. I'd make Gojo the narrator, he'd be talking about his dream to all of his students right before going to fight Sukuna. He'd talk about how he wanted them to be better, to change the world for the better, to not make the same mistakes as the higher-ups and even himself made. All while the different periods of time are shown to us in the background, showing the students getting old and growing up.

Gege is just really bad at 'show, don't tell'

For example, the higher-ups are just caricatures that are only really mentioned, and are barely even shown when we get close to actually seeing them on screen

Always feel like a cop out to me. Just gonna change the entire story. The authors need more time when it comes to their last arcs and I really don't know why Gege hadn't decided on switching to bi weekly or monthly even. Does anyone know if there's a reason some authors stay on the weekly grind?

Gege would DEFINITELY prefer to work mountly. Like, despiste the manga being weekly, it was almost biweekly due to how many times Gege had health issues while doing the arc

I honestly kind of like the ending. It's not too great, but it's not too bad either.

I like our cast having some time to interact again and just deal with some easy jobs.

Sukuna's conclusion was also pretty good (which is a huge surprise).

Though, that final page of the door to the little shrine containing Sukuna's last finger is pretty ominous. I don't anything will come of it unless Gege or another author decides to write a spin-off and/or a sequel, but it's still kind of intriguing.
