The reverse is also true in the fact that Electro can absorb any of Kashimo's electricity to get stronger or heal himself.

I'm almost certain it's a case of the writers having no idea how that's not that impressive all things considered.

Pretty much, a quick Google Search is all they’d need to get a voltage or amperage that’s actually impressive.

Then you get Gege. Who understands Mach 1 and above is really fast by normal standards so he keeps having below Mach 5 stuff be labeled as impressive.
