Joseph pre-training beat Straizo, which is basically dire but way better with decades more experience, inherited the ripple master title and also a vampire.

Plus Joseph can manage to bullshit Straizo, lure into traps and trick pillarmen, even with what he has on himself he could probably make traps on the fly like he did with Esidisi or Wham.
