Nagato is a glass cannon and is only High 6-C with Chibaku Tensei, he'd be taken down quite easily, leaving Minato alone to fight two characters who are immensely faster than he could ever hope to be

Garnet has precognition as well, and a punch from a Large Island level character will absoulutely kill a character with Large Town level durability. Minato is the only one who actually stands a chance here.
