I just realized that EM used fragmentation (8 j/cc) rather than supposed pulverization (214.35 j/cc). It should be pulverization because "it's going to turn West Coast into a crater".

Re-doing the calc: Volume: (1.105e24 cc) x (214.35 j/cc) = 2.3685675e26 joules or 56.61 petatons of TNT (Large Continent level)
