Nvm I was missremembering one of Neuvi's statements after him and Childe beat up the Narwhal. Still I don't think there is any implication it's AP is increasing, only it's Dura and size

our experience from the Traveller's POV and what happened in the archon quests carries far more reliable information than that of World Quests. As to why, I mean... would you rather believe something you witnessed yourself or some popular legend you find online that's about the same event you witnessed, but with a slightly or noticeably different story?
But... the scan you reference is not a feat that can be witnessed in-game, but rather the in-game item description text. The description I quoted is not just "some popular legend". At least the result mentioned in the game is based on the calculations made repeatedly.(As Puppet mentioned above, this calculation is very accurate and maybe would not have changed without Traveler's intervention.)
Nevilluette even said he needed to separate the power of the Primordial Sea from the Narwhal so he could be defeated, it shouldn't be an anti-feat.
What I want to say here is that the Narwhal they defeated was weakened, and the act of stripping the power of the Primordial Sea was not done by Neuvl alone (he admitted that he needed Traveler's help because the Narwhal was too big)
Hmm... was it implied that the Narwhal was absorbing the amniotic fluid after its battle with the Traveller and Neuvillette? I mean, even so... its very unlikely it's talking about simple seas and oceans, as we literally saw the Narwhal get transmuted to a black hole-looking void substance by Skirk, and straight-up thrown into the Abyss. So even if the Narwhal was implied to have swallowed bodies of sea waters after its defeat by the Traveller,
Are you trying to say that Narwhal absorbed the amniotic fluid before fighting Traveler and the others? I don't remember any subsequent mention/implication that Narwhal was still absorbing the amniotic fluid after the battle
Also, even if the Narwhal really were actually drinking the Primordial Sea water, his taking 100 years to do so wouldn't be an anti-feat since it is a source of divine power and could take an exceptionally long time to absorb
In this case, the question is, if Narwhal wanted to destroy the creatures in Teyvat, why didn't Narwhal use Tier 4-A ap instead of wasting a hundred years absorbing amniotic fluid and then killing the creatures on the surface?

It would be easy for a 4-A character to destroy all life on the surface in an instant. The problem with Narwhal is that it takes a hundred years to absorb amniotic fluid (or it takes a hundred years to destroy all life on the surface after absorbing amniotic fluid). In any case, for a 4-A character, this method is obviously unreasonable.

I'm referring to the Traveller and Neuvillette's fight with the Narwhal. That is clearly something we deal with in-game.

Checked again and you're right about this, though, it wouldn't make a difference for the main topic.

Obviously, the Traveller and Neuvillette fought the Narwhal when it literally had the power of the Primordial Sea. The entire reason why they even needed to separate it. The "amniotic fluid" is very much referring to the Primordial Sea and I said it to you before.

Your interpretation right here is not AP but DC (destructive capacity). A character doesn't necessarily need to demonstrate a level of DC to qualify for a level of AP; for example, a character was only shown to be able to bust a wall, yet they can still be around Low 1-C in AP. Though, you did refer to the Narwhal who did perform a DC feat, though, powerscaling at its inherency is just wack -- take a franchise for Dragon Ball as an example; their 2-C ratings came from statements of the DB macrocosm eventually going to be destroyed, however, literally every fight with the Saiyans in the series that takes place after that statement, couldn't even destroy the celestial bodies in their nearby environment, such as Earth.

A character who performed a DC feat already and hasn't been shown to do it again, shouldn't be an anti-feat, since they're already qualified with the AP to perform and withstand such potency and energy. If the character was shown to be consistently defeated by obviously weaker characters with brute force, and no hax abilities such as power nullification, then it would be considered anti-feats, but it isn't the case shown here.

Not to mention other in-lore factors. The intention of the Narwhal and the trouble of destroying Fontaine if the latter is what he intends to do. The Narwhal was gradually absorbing the power of the Primordial Sea before he started to appear on the surface of Fontaine, it should be noted that the Primordial Sea is directly it. Either the Primordial Sea is preventing the Narwhal from destroying Fontaine or the Narwhal's intention was to steal power and grow stronger, not necessarily destroy all of Fontaine because it felt like it whatsoever.

primordial sea stuff should not be argued at all it has nothing to do with 4-A feat thats in the op.
Also wasnt this thread accepted by 2 guys long ago? is there actually something to debate other than 4-A whale or no

I think there isn't any other point to say,but this part,I don't think the situation with Dragon Ball can be the same as the situation with Narwhal.

First of all, there are many descriptions in Dragon Ball that clearly indicate that a certain attack will destroy the universe (for example, when Goku and Beerus fight, they mention the shockwave that will destroy everything in the universe). The part about not being able to destroy the celestial bodies near them is more like a typical PIS I think

As for Narwhal, it's different.
The new feat for the 4-A scaling should be established for those aforementioned Fontaine arc characters, that will revolve around this description, when the All-Devouring Narwhall swallowed, absorbed and extinguished countless stars and eventually the endless sea of stars. It is said that those starry skies take resemblance to that of a galaxy, implying the Narwhall absorbed and extinguished an entire galaxy overtime.
The scan you used to scale the narwhal mentioned that the Narwhal devoured countless stars. Normally, the size of the stars must be larger than the planet Teyvat itself. If the Narwhal could really devour a star larger than Teyvat, why would it waste a hundred years absorbing amniotic fluid to kill Teyvat's creatures instead of swallowing Teyvat directly?
And then there also have a problem is that this description is too vague. It does not mention how long it took the Narwhal to devour the stars. Also, some people mention that this feat was accomplished by a group of Narwhal. As for how many Narwhal there were at the time, perhaps hundreds, thousands, millions or even hundreds of millions, we do not know.
I don't recall anything suggesting that the Primordial Sea tried to stop the Narwhal from destroying Fontaine.
According to this description,Narwhal's motive is to devour world like Teyvat and gestates a new world within its stomach. That mean, Narwhal's goal is not just to destroy Fontaine, but to try to destroy the entire Teyvat. So in order to achieve its goal, it absorbed amniotic fluid to flood Teyvat and cause the destruction of all living things on the surface. So in order to achieve its goal, it absorbed amniotic fluid to flood Teyvat and cause the destruction of all living things on the surface. Then after gaining enough energy, it swallowed Teyvat into its stomach and ushered in rebirth.

I did mention the Primordial Sea being under Fontaine serves as a possible factor of protection. And I also mentioned Narwhal's intentions, which proved my point. I read the description again, "those things" that were mentioned refer to the victims of the Narwhal. Teyvat is universal in size, so needing power to swallow it wouldn't be an anti-feat either. It was implied that all of those events took an instant, hence there is a definite timeframe.

Yet, what happened? The universe was not destroyed.

Edit: Closing for now, I don't feel like continuing this topic further. @Woomica I'll now open your scaling thread and y'all can discuss the Narwhal shitshow there without my involvement.
