If someone can freeze someone else in place but without using ice, what is that called?

This one should be moved to Questions and Answers. In what way was the character frozen?
It could be slowing the molecules of the character making him motionless.
Using telekinesis to stop his motors functions.
Manipulating Space to hold him in that location.
Manipulating Time to stop him in time.
It could be a form of paralysis.
Stopping their muscles activity.
Petrification.
A power that could turn a person completely rigid.
There are more but right now only those come to my mind.
