Gray Fullbuster VS. Kotori Itsuka

Key(s): In X792 Gray, and Spirit Form Kotori.

Mindset: Both are In-Character.

Speed?: Speed is equalized.

Distance: 1km

Gray vs Kotori
Gray: 1 (ZephyrosOmega)

Kotori:

Gray recieves a Chupa Chup from Kotori (Inconclusive):
1 (Ionliosite)

From what I understand, Gray > Invel > Brandish > Ikusa-Tsunagi who's 2.02 Gigatons, while Kotori is 1.95 Gigatons, so Gray has the AP advantage.

Gray's more used to fighting people of the opposing element, regularly tangling with Natsu, while AFAIK Kotori and Yoshino haven't ever fought.

Gray's got way more versatility with his ice than Kotori does with her fire, but I hesitate to say he has a hax advantage as spacequakes and Regenerationn are a good counter. That said, Lost Ice Shell could probably incap long enough to end the fight. I'd say Gray takes it mid-high diff, and Devil Slayer Magic makes it even moreso.

Normal Iced Shell would kill him too, but everything else is indeed valid.
Actually, the normal Iced Shell is stated that the Caster is still alive, but as the ice itself that incasing the target. It destroys the user's body though.

Ul is literally water now, so no matter if she's sentinent water or something like that, Iced Shell pretty much kills the user.

Ah, alright.

So, does that mean you're voting for Kotori, Incon, or Gray for a different reason?

I will vote Incon, Kotori has Low-Mid regen (although it should be Mid) and some hax, she should be capable of prolonging the fight for enough time to make Gray use Lost Iced Shell or Iced Shell incaping both in the process.

She isn't going to stand there while she is regenarating and let Gray hit her again, if he strikes first.

Unless Gray can cut her in half or decapitated her Kotori won't go down due to her regen, and freezing is countered by her flames.

i mean, Gray has a substantial AP advantage, and his ice has withstood flames before. I mean, hwo many times has the guy fought Natsu?

In such a small tier as High 7A even assuming Gray was at the very peak of it which he isn't since he doesn't have a +. And Kotori was baseline.

That's a 2.5x difference, not a big deal.

Natsu and Gray counter eachother and go into fist fights, same here, only anything Gray does that isn't cutting her in half gets regenerated from

Gray waves his hand and freezes her. Now this is a valid tactic seeing as Silver (weaker with the IDSM and lost to Gray before Gray even got it) could freeze Natsu no diff despite Natsu > Gray, having the ability to power null magic with his flames and the type advantage. The only advatnage Silver had was power raw power but Natsu's power null has overcome exactly that on multiple occasions so its not even a good counter.

Edit: Not to mention his go to moves in this key are his Zeroth spells among which is his Zeroth Long Sword.

Iirc Gray has eaten Invel's Ice, which could even freeze Natsu's Normal Fire(It's what his Destruction Fist is made out of). There's also Silver Freezing Natsu as well.
