Alright. So acid would probably neg Polnareff and any attacks that hit him likely extract his stand. Problem is Pucci has to hit him but the acid has a room AoE.

Massive necro on my part, but this is interesting. Whitesnake is good, but Pol is incredibly fast. Since Pucci dosn't have prior knowledge, what illusion would he even make with the acid?

As neither have prior knowledge, this will come down to a battle of pure speed. Pucci can't make convincing illusions as he doesn't know Pol's past, and his stand is likely a fair bit slower. Pucci's stand has more range, but that hardly matters in a face to face battle.

Which Polnareff are we using? If it's part three Polnareff, he would likely goof off and could possibly lose by letting Pucci catch him off guard. Part five Polnareff would take this as he tends to fool around less and will engage threats more seriously, as seen when he treated the mild unknown of Doppio as an absolute risk to his safety, despite having no true reason to suspect that.

Pol at his best is right before facing Diavolo, so I'm using that one.

This votes are fine and all but I'm just going to point out that Pucci's illusions are just a thing he did twice, it's not even in the description of what his Stand can do.
