Okay, there was a point posted in a previous thread regarding Grant Morrison's Source and the Overmonitor being separate entities. I thought it would be best to discuss his maps as a topic in their own right.
Grant Morrison did two maps. In his final map, he labelled the White Space beyond the DC Multiverse as being both "Overvoid" and "The Source." He also described the Monitor-Mind as being "the Source and the Unknowable." Some have interpreted this as the Overvoid and the Source being the same. Others have interpreted it stating the Overvoid and the Source are different entities.
In his conceptual map, he specifically stated that "the Source is the White Page." That puts to rest any doubt that the Source and the Overvoid are one and the same in Morrison's DC Multiverse. They clearly are not separate entites, according to Morrison.
Now, how do we as fans accept this? Should we just ignore the maps as being conclusive on the issue?
