(GRACE) Kashimo VS Yuta (again) (15-11-0)

Output =/= A.P. Nowhere is it indicated to be 1:1
The damage an attack deals is explicitly proportional to its output. Lower output = less damage, higher output = more damage.

Crazy to even match Known Special Grade Yuta against Grade 1 Victim Kashimo...

Reserves also go into that btw

JP Hakari, who has infinite reserves, doesn't have infinite ouput. Curious...

Plus, 16F Sukuna had significantly more CE than Yuta, but because his technique's output dropped he could hardly leave skin-deep wounds in Yuji.

If a technique's purpose is to do damage, higher output means more damage. Ryu is top 1 in the Culling Games in terms of output.

This means they are related. Not that they are 1:1. To hit the hardest you need both

Because Yuta isn't on same level as JP Hakari speed?
Either way Hakari Dodging that is treated as outlier by wiki. It doesn't affect Kashimo aiming for the head and also it has Homing attack properties.
Honestly if it has homing properties how tf does it miss its target? Like even if he dodged shouldnt it have just continued till it hit Hakari’s head of something?

gege giving hakari plot armor or i dont know man, hakari lost 2 times that fight but gege said nah, gambling

Damn, so Kashimo really got two wins on the "Highest output" and "boundless curse energy". Lightning remains the coolest ability in fiction.
To bad Gege gave him the dumbest CT in the ******* verse, dude went from a badass to a chump

you are so right, kashimo like what, was born and already knew his ct would kill him or he modifed his ct to kill him, what?????, and the last topic, i think hakari could have aim dodged it but i dont think so

I think the general term is reinforcement, sorcerers reinforcement their body to become stronger, this comes out in the form of one's output and the extent they can put into reinforcing. I believe Yuji here describes output and reinforcement as the same.

Then there's Kashimo describing Hakari's resistance to his electricity's via his output, this would be a defensive use of output.

I know there's more but I'm forgetting the other examples.

Coolest*. He only needs it against the strongest, the rest he either just accepts his death or wins.
No, he has the worst Cursed Technique in the entire series. Its the only one that you get to use once and it will kill you.

Honestly it isnt even that cool in terms of what he ends up doing with it, he gives himself a Wojack mouth and fires off an energy blast.

Hes significantly cooler when hes throwing hands and firing off one shot lightning bolts.

i still dont understand how kashimo knows this, like, does every sorcerer know what they do by just having them? like what, kashimo just got a ct that kills him and man said "okay" truly the strongest of the edo era

Honestly the difference heavily comes down to combat tactics, Kashimo going for a lightning head shot after a couple blows vs Yuta just not using his CT till he’s been ****** up a bit. Also Gege giving him that dumbass 5 minute timer.

Catch this electromagnetic wave, and oh yeah let me YELLL, shit Im dead. He's just a raw sorcerer, hands, and ct then die, not this "uwu pop domain, Rika help! let me copy your ct!"

Probably there was previous users of the CT in his family

Also if Ryu is stronger than why would Kashimo be so the strongest? And why didn’t he think Ryu would satisfy him? Narratively Kashimo>Ryu

I dont think so cause Gojo specifically knew about Limitless due to knowledge passed down by his family, it seems to be implied that he wouldnt just know anout like Red or Blue without his family info or just figuring it out himself.

It's kinda vague but I think he understands how his ct works down to a molecular level that he understands the absurd increase to his body and brain if not held indefinitely ends up destroying the body after cancelling the ct. I mean the manga literally says it transforms his body to electricity, stating his body surpasses the limits of humankind and after its done the body crumbles.

I don't think they're the same. Cursed Energy Reinforcement is using Cursed Energy to amplify the physical's body's strength, speed, and durability. Seemingly it's affected by Cursed Energy Quantity, Control, and Output. Cursed Technique Output is... the ouput of a cursed technique, which obviously depends on what the Cursed Technique does: A higher-output Jacob's Ladder will extinguish Techniques more effectively, a higher-output RCT will heal worse damage, and a higher-output attack will deal more damage.

The Hakari scan is useless, it says he ignored Kashimo's CE effect with sheer CE Quantity and Output. It's not saying anything regarding what they mean for AP.

In fact, output is already accepted to mean AP, no? Or is 200% Purple not twice as strong?

More like

“Haha catch this punch”

“Now catch this electromagnetic wave”

“Shit it missed”

Activates scanning mode

“Wow Sukuna is like the most perfectest guy whos ever lived”

Gets one shot

(You can’t forget the glazing before death)

why doesn't Kashimo just end it before his body dies, is he stopid?

When did he say that? It was more that Mutsu was far and he was already dying.

Im pretty sure once its activated you can’t really turn it off.
well, i guess that could make sense?, still, gege really didn't want to make another kashimo fight so he just speeded up the story so yuji can fight sukuna by just 2 chaptering kashimo

Oh, then in that case he could have higher CT output and still have it be weaker than Kashimo since Kashimo doesn’t use his CT

Reread it. I'm saying Reinforcement is a general term and output goes into it. CT output may be less but still like Sukuna with TS he can increase the Shikigami's durability and power through output. For the Hakari thing, I'm saying output is being described in a defensive manner, its not about ap. And output is ap but it also has to do with overall ce manipulation. The Yuta thing was pretty blatantly.
