God of War: Ragnarok Discussion Thread

Probably Starkad. Thor feared him and Odin had to resort to making him look like a monster so Vanir, Aesir, and Midgard forces could team up on him in order to defeat him, and even then he only died from bleeding out thanks to Thor taking advantage of him choosing to surrender.
I forgot about him, yeah him being the strongest seems likely.

okay, there was just a big leak that pretty much confirms any leak plot leak we've seen of the game is fake. I honestly don't know what direction they are going for within the gam.

be careful with massive leak about odin and thor pic on reddit... This make me so much hype....

I feel like I kinda explained it poorly lmao. By all pieces, I mean every single piece of gear from the start of the game to the end can reach the max level 9 rank unlike in 2018 where lower-level gear's upgrades were capped at a certain level.
Wow, between this, the Transmog system and the movement of some runic attacks to base combat, they really did try to tune up all aspects of 2018. This is great.

Kratos is massively holding back in the first Thor fight. Thor tells him "you insult me holding back like this" and Kratos seemingly doesn't want to fight him

I feel like Ragnarok is literal of END conceptually and transcendentally. Ragnarok arent just gods dying.

It's described as as a major part of a cyclical cosmos so that seems unlikely.
well it's still part of "higher cyclical cosmos" yeah. What i mean is, ragnarok is event that literally bypass/negate gods immortality and resurrection

Yeah me 2. A Baldur callback when Kratos hit Thor with that statue

And They create some sort of rift in Time and space during their fight, Thor saying it reminds him of something likely his fight with The serpent, and the Fight ends in a stalemate as we predicted

They doing chamberlain numbers with these leaks, bruh. Well, the game comes out next week at the time of this comment, and some people already have physical copies of the game, so I guess this is to be expected

To me it looks like the clash with Leviathan axe created frozen lighting and that's what's familiar to Thor and then we will find out later why probably

Tbh after Norse, the biggest myths candidate that SMS choose for next GoW would be Egyptian and shinto-buddhism. Why ? because it easy to make visual representation of those myth in 3D graphics. Most other myths are lacking of visual representation or the culture are not very rich.

Minor spoiler.
So there are boss that able to cut through realities/realms, pretty much like yamato from DMC Which means the boss also able to bypass odin seals
