God of War: Ragnarok Discussion Thread

Am I reading this wrong or does this imply the Coloussus didn’t take Kratos’ powers as a god
I recently played the intro to see and ya I don't really see why people assume that, nothing says that- the stuff inside the being is called life energy not god energy or anything of the like thr only indication is the same lighting around both and that's probably just because it’s zeus doing both things

The novel directly says that Kratos' energy was transferred into the Colossus. That's where the interpretation comes from.
That is weird. Tho I'd argue refering to the internal energy as life energy when you first drain it with the blade of Olympus counterdicts that anyway

oh great, now, are we going to have more "it is just a geography thing and thats it, everything is just in the planet"
As long as it still is no visisble showing of it being "just the place but no implication of it being a alternate world" than yes, they will still believe it because of the sheer amount of WoG this series have & how much the greek era hard carries most of the cosmic feats & hax, there is a reason why some have this view.

BECAUSE THE TEAM DOESN"T DO COOL STUFF AND HAVE THE CHARACTER PROVE THEIR STRENGTH LIKE FIGHT A PLANET SIZE BEING OR CREATURE, BECASE PEOPLE ARE SICK & TIRED OF THE SERIES NOT SHOWING A LICK OF IT, THAT THEY BEGRUDLINGLY IGNORE ANY OTHER COSMIC COSMOGLY OR LORE, OUT OF IT NOT FIGHTING SOMETHING TO THAT SCALE SO THEY CAN DO IT OUT SPITE. (sorry for the ALL caps, just wanted to show how much of much of an nuisance they think.)

By WoG you mean interviews or those stupid bait twitter questions?

the twitter questions are most of it being pointed out (as the people using it are baiting and doing it out of bad faith, as to falsely downgrade.) but even then, there is legit responses where are WoG, which is the likely explanation as to why they exist if not one of them

I haven't seen the interviews being used as that, but I bet they would to piss fans of the powerscaling side of GOW aswell as baiting creators to basically say what they want them to say.

The 2023 G1 blog explained well with interviews why that isn't the case

The problem here most people create assumption GOW Earth = Modern Real life Earth. Same size, same dimension same properties, etc etc
