In terms of games that came out this year, definitely Cuphead.
However, in terms of games I played this year, I played Metal Gear Rising for the first time earlier this month and it's easily in my top 10 favorites now. Damn I wish I'd had the means to play that game earlier. Sucks though because there's likely never going to be a Rising 2.
