the end of the split is never shown, so both I (I tried to calc it a while ago but never posted it) and Jasonsith just considered the length to be the visible distance of the horizon, given how everyone mentions that the entire sky was split

I actually found a ratio for Jasonsith's version of the calc when comparing just the value from the hole split to the entire split (as in the hole + everything else that is split).
It's about 7.3824987 times the value for just the hole split.
Not sure if that helps.

Ok then, so what I was referring to was the DA calc's calculation of distance between Raoh and the clouds.
But your calc will probably calc that in its own way as well.

You guys have NO IDEA how many times I had to re-do this calc due to just horrendously overinflated result and distances that we're impossible
In the end I just went with 40 km for all (Horizon distance)
But for reference my first attempt at it had a ang-sized viewing distance of over 1000 km and yielded 6-A results
