So I think the real question now is who between these two have best range? : Because I think the best strategy Natsu can use is keeping his distance and use ranged attacks once he understand that his magic power is absorbed by Samehada.
Range is definitely not the way to go against Kisame since he can block said attacks with Samehada and absorb the magic in them.

Natsu wins

we saw in the anime how easily Kisames attacks were negged by 7th gate guy: who’s main arsenal in that gate is „basically fire“.

natsus basic equipment in this key is Igneels scarf which basically negates misfortune of an strong attack, we saw how it negated the effects of „Zerefs death magic“ in Tenrou island.
Natsu also has enhanced senses which gives him „Using his physical senses, he can sense a targets location, sense a target's true physiology, sense dangerous attacks, sense intention to do evil, sense invisible beings, sense if a spell is on an object, sense if someone's smell matches the smell of something else, and sense if someone is alive or not even if they have been absorbed“. so many advantages in this fight.

Natsu has never fought a water manipulator, so to assume he’s weak against water is just an assumption.

Natsu also has Extrasensory Perception which gives him „Can determine the strength of an enemy, sense the nature of magic, location of magic, and sense any changes within said magic“ these advantages.

also this version of natsu was able to vaporize „Sand“ giving him a heat of 50.000 degrees, the best feat kisame showed was against „Son“ the lava user and lava is said to be around 1.100 degrees so natsus heat is around 45 times hotter which will instantly kill kisame since he has shown no feats of him able to withstand that much heat.

7th Gate Guy won because he didn’t use Chakra so Kisame couldn’t absorb the attacks.

Igneel’s scarf also stops death hax, not any bad thing from happening to Natsu.

When did this Natsu vape sand?
Oh wait my bad! His profile is so out of order lol. It’s stated at the beginning of his profile so I thought he did this in his base key! But now that I read it again: it’s x792 natsu so completely irrelevant with this thread.

wouldn’t natsus extrasensory perception and enhanced senses give him an advantage in this fight?

Yup, you're right, and then there's also the fact that Guy was A LOT stronger. Hirudora is strong enough to yeet and dispose of Madara's Susano'o for a while, so yeah, no wonder Kisame lost that exchange lol.
Anyway, what would Kisame's win con be in this matchup?

Just tell me Kisame's win cons in this match
Kisame is primarily a brute force type fighter who relies on his physical strength and Samehada's sharp scales to overpower and shred his opponents.
However, he's also deceptively skilled. He can match master martial artists like Might Guy, who's arguably the most skilled Taijutsu expert in the verse. His swordsmanship Is good enough to match Killer B, who's just as skilled as the likes of Sasuke and Itachi. Speaking of Itachi, he's also sparred with him.
And of course, he's a member of The Seven Swordsmen of the Mist, arguably the most prolific group of swordsmen in the verse.
So yeah, he's got a lot skill, surprisingly so.

Honestly, IDK. Like I said, I dunno jack about FT. I can list some of Kisame's abilities, though.
The most important tool at his disposal is Samehada, his blade. It's a sentient sword that can sense and absorb chakra upon contact. It also shreds rather than cut its victims, and can move on its own to return to Kisame in case he lost it. It can also heal him from some pretty gruesome injuries. Finally, the chakra Samehada absorbs can be used to strengthen Kisame and his Jutsu, so the stronger the opponent, the stronger Kisame will get. His stamina also gets replenished.
It should also be noted that Samehada is far more durable than Kisame himself, with its dura sitting at High 7-A+.

Kisame can also move underground, like a shark.
He can create massive bodies of water, a mountain sized water dome in which he can trap his opponents and sense their chakra, countless danmaku water sharks to overwhelm his opponents under water, a giant water shark that can absorb chakra, and even water clones. He can also create water prison balls around victims which paralyze them.

I'd also like to touch on Kisame's insane stamina and pain tolerance. Like, most Akatsuki members, he can supply the Biju extraction ritual with chakra for days on end (at least 6 iirc). He is also noted several times to have the highest stamina out of all the Akatsuki. He backs this up with disgusting pain tolerance feats. He completely shrugs off getting stabbed, biting his own tongue off, literally getting eaten alive, having his chest blown wide open, etc. Combine that with Samehada replenishing his stamina, and boom! Good luck outlasting this guy lol.

Yeah, that's about it off the top of my head.
This is more or less everything Kisame has up his sleeves.

Clones and paralysis are straight up useless here. The former are 10% of Kisame without the chakra absorption and get one shot while the latter is something Natsu has a feat of power nulling.

I'm not an active participant here, so I don't have a side. But I don't blindly stan Naruto characters if that's what you're suggesting 👀

forgot to mention it was in the span of a singular day

Same, and to be honest I already throw my wincons.

Just waiting for what you guys have to vote. (I'm not that well versed in Naruto)
