Everybody Wants to Rule the World 5: What Now? (Thread 13)

I chuckle slightly.

"He is actually a little fearsome, Sigismund Blackmantle was a severe man ... all study and practice, the master Elysmine told me that he has never smiled once since she was her student"

"Oh... that seems tough. Like, there is no problem in take you job serious, but sometimes you need to get some fun, not everything needs to be serious and all dark" She says to Gondlir

"By the way, i know that this is a serious thing to say but..." She looks to gondlir, afraid of what she says may make he sad

"Are all of them dead?"

I move my gaze first to Rachel and then to the picture.

"Almost all of them, mainly many died in peace ... in old age when they renounced their role, some instead ... became sorcerers because forced by events"

"Without counting for the Master Sigismund, I know the previous sorcerers through books and historical accounts," I reply.

"He was Adras Rinvail ... the first and founder of the Warmages Coven, they were practically warriors and sorcerers at the same time," I explain.

"Adras became the Supreme Sorcerer during one of the darkest periods known in the Mortal Realm ... the event known as the Skies of Bloody Flames, during that period ... a huge horde of demons invaded the Mortal Realm, bringing death and devastation everywhere"

"In fact, he was the pupil of Adras' most trusted companion ... the latter was the Supreme Sorcerer for the shortest period of all ... from what is written in the books he died fighting the archdemon who headed that horde, he was the shortest and youngest of all of us ... but also the most worthy "

I chuckle.

"Oh no, I'm barely qualified to be among the three weakest of all the previous sorcerers ... I'm powerful, but I'm certainly not at their level"

"I don't think so, you seem to be a very powerfull Sorcerer" She says while smilling

"The only thing you are missing is the cuteness of them" She jokingly says to Gondllir

The clone Tset releases its various auras, even one that had been previously withheld. This one in particular causes Magnus, his clones, and even several bystanders to experience their deaths in obscene detail. These range from simple aging or natural death to being disemboweled, shredded, or blown apart. Normal people would instantly die from the mental strain alone, and it should stun those affected here at the very least.

Moreover, instantly perceiving the Marble Phantasm and learning of its danger, it moves itself in an esoteric fashion, instantly shredding space in an area around itself. It maintains this area as it charges into the Marble Phantasm, erecting Kagami to dissuade any Sting-infused attacks should the clones be able to move and attack it.

I, meanwhile, observe from the Ashuriam dimension, with my mind wandering yet again. At first, it tells me how easily I could kill Magnus here, as he has absolutely no clue what I did or where I am, but I respond that it would be incredibly uninteresting. Next, my nature to improve directs my mind, saying that I could easily scan over the entire world and learn everything there is to know about every form of combat, to which I again respond that it would be insanely boring. To this end, I try something new.

Warping my body into a more conventional shape, I move to the far end of the hidden dimension and collapse it, reappearing in reality while stealthed to the best of my ability. Then moving away from the battle and into nearby China, I wander around, looking for the nearest place of martial learning.

Due to the effects of Tset's (desperado) aura, Abiah unintentionally releases Hatred Weapon Bazooka Dead, reopening the various past wounds of those there. She heads out of range until she gets it under control. Who knows, maybe she'll find a demon.

"Ouch." Koharu says, as her body regenerates from all the wounds it had obtained being reopened at once

Repeatedly cutting the distance between herself and Abiah, she intercepts her, ending up in the girl's path

"That hurt quite a bit little one, why would you do such a thing, I could have died you know. What do you have to say for yourself?" She asks, standing infront of Abiah, smiling warmly with her weapons away

"Well, I admit that my appearance is not ... adorable like that of Gilbert Sunbloom", I exclaim, pointing to a painting of a little man dressed in green, he looked like a child. Orange curly hair covered with a top hat and blue eyes. His whole body from rainbow sparks.

"Or that of Imoen Breezeleaf", I continue, pointing this time to the portrait of an enchanting girl with long white hair, a long silk dress and ivy-shaped bracelets.

"Or the one of-oh ... oh", I stop, pointing to a picture torn diagonally.

"Ah, don't need to take it seriously, i was just jok-" She than stops talking when sge notices the painting torned

"Uhhh, what happened to that one?" She asks

"Hmm, I see. Well, you should work on that then, do be careful, you've already attacked a powered person before, so if something like this happens again, most people might not be inclined to believe you." Koharu responds

I guess she can go for now, she is just a child losing control, this is 2 times she's done it so far though.

The swordswoman nods and heads back towards where the now finished fight had been happening, beginning Zen meditation along with what she was doing before, to keep herself sharp

Because of Dead Scar going off and the death apperation, I am VERY stunned.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Luckily, the needle clones don't have scars to open and are not bothered by death, so they are fine and the ones in the inner circles of the protective "bubble" keep me from falling with telekinesis

From the ground of the reality marble, several thousand copy greatswords start shooting un-to the clone, which shred throught space and are imbued with Sting, while the downpour of sting needles continues too.

Luminaris just sort of stands there throughout the entire ordeal, letting others deal with it. He seemed to have been unaffected by the activation, as his Enlightenment of the Sacred Fig had mitigated the damage completely.

Elsewhere, in the depths of the Earthpulse, far away from the complex, a Reality Marble is activated.

"You could define him evil ... as many others could do the same, but he was not intrinsically evil, he had a great ambition and a dream ... but unfortunately that dream would have cost an incalculable number of lives, lives to which he was indifferent," I explain.

"His name was Marcus Morrigan, the second supreme sorcerer and one of the most powerful and brilliant of this multiverse ... and unfortunately he is remembered as the man who almost brought all known worlds to collapse"

My death seemed... strange, so I looked through my powers again to see if I had a delayed death effect or something. I found a "Read More" section in "Soul Gem". "I can work with this." I think to myself.

"Oh... what was exactly hos 'dream'? Unification of worlds?" Shr asks, apparently interested in knowing more about the Sorcerer

"More or less, you see, Essence pervades the multiverse and in a certain sense holds it together", I explain.

"Morrigan was obsessed with a theory that many scholars of the arcane arts claimed, the so-called Primordial Spark, a period prior to the multiverse in which all Essence was concentrated in a single point in time and space, he wanted to ... see it, understand it , to feel the Primordial Spark pervade him in every fiber of his being ... he wanted to see with his own eyes the first real great magic, the creation of the multiverse "

"Mh, follow me", I say, coming out of the corridor.

I lead both of us to the doors of another room.

Upon opening them, Rachel noticed that the room was spacious and full of various objects, many of them on pedestals and shelves.

"This you see is a room where several magical objects are kept, but not weapons ... those are kept in a safer place, here there are mainly inventions and souvenirs"

"Oh wow, there is alot of stuff here!" She says as she runs towards one of the artifacts and stares at it with diamonds on her eyes, she than looks at Gondlir and points towards the artifact

"Can i touch it?"

I approach the artifact and take it.

It looks like a spherical puzzle.

"This is a game, it has a surprise inside if you can solve it," I say, handing the sphere to Rachel.

(How the puzzle looks like?

"Hehehe, is there a problem if i try to solve it?" She asks smilling, while inspecting the Sphere

"Hmmm, thanks Gondlir, I'll try my best! But first, what type of puzzle is this? Like a Magic Cube or something like that?" She asks, excited to try solving it

"Something like that," I say, turning the sphere slightly.

It makes a small click, illuminating the grooves with a light blue light.

"When it lights up it means you're closer to solving the riddle"
