He can seal dark matter and defend himself for some time but the range of production of DM surpasses the range of destruction of itachi and he can kill some clone but he can't arm the whole network, sonner or later kakine is gonna win (although he needs to use DM absorption as edo itachi should be able to recover from normal attack just fine)
