Duel Terminal Lore Discussion

Yeah, but that doesn't mean resistance. He could have just literally beat them up.

@SD It is actually stated that they tried everything they could to reseal the dragons but werent able to because they didnt have the same circumstances as the first time they were sealed, which lead to the Spirit of the Ice Barrier sacrificing his being to seal them in the Void Trap Hole

They're using stuff like attack reflection, directly on Trishula?

There are ways to beat people with those abilities without having some resistance.

I mean, it's negation of their abilities too, so that's not really the same. There was also the mind manipulation

A relic created by the one who became the founder of the "Ice Barrier". It was originally used to seal away the Three Dragons, as it was (and remains) capable of reflecting and suppressing their freezing powers.

Because when they used it a second time after it returned, it no longer worked. It was explicitly said they're safeguards had no power against him anymore.

@Weekly Trishula, look at Yobo's proposal.

@Yobo from the context, it sounds less like resistance and more like different circumstances

@Yobo Because the first time they sealed the dragons a guy literally had to give up his body and become a spirit for it to work

I mean

That would be sealing resistance, which I'm not advocating

Basically the second time they tried to seal the dragons, the people doing it were less powerful so it didnt work, which is what made the Spirit give up his being to seal them in the Void Trap Hole

But they weren't trying to seal it though, they were trying to control it, hence the word safeguards and mind control

Alao, this is more minor, but going by MG5, the life force/souls of all beings that have lived or are living are part of Sophia or Tierra

"Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever."

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

That's almost verbatim from Genesis... Weird, you sure youre not being trolled or something?

Considering Master Guide 5 and Sophia and Tierra in general are one big Kabbalah and Gnostic reference, no.

Anyways, sounds like immortality type 1 but only if they eat the fruit, who has eaten the fruit?

The Japanese text of "Monolith" details the cause of the destruction caused by the "Qliphort" and "Infernoid". If you extract the Japanese and read from right to left, you reveal the motive of "Qliphort", while extracting the English reveals the reason for the actions of the "Infernoid".

"Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever."

"God is angry on your doing and wants to bring the fire flood"

Context clues "take also of the tree of life, and eat,"

Also given its references, we might be able to understand the stuff more clearly.

Oh

The Tree of Life in this case refers to the Naturia Sacred Tree, which maintains the flow of life and death. The Qliphoth are it's protectors, and thus they want to protect it at all costs, even if they have to fuse with other life forms. Eating the fruit in this case refers to threats to the sacred tree, probably, since they immediately go after the Shadolls and surface life after they detect a glitch in the flow of life and death, which ends up releasing Tierra and destroying the tree. Probably.

I can see the first part, though the second part seems abit speculatory, but either way its okay.
