Dragon Ball Super Discussion Thread 100

Got a question for you lads and ladies here on the thread: What's a fight from the series, canon or otherwise, that you think is underrated or at least doesn't get much as appreciation as you feel it should get?

My pick would be Base Goku vs Final Form Frieza in the RoF movie. It's a somewhat shorter fight, but the fight choreography and the animation are some of the best in the series. And on top of this, seeing Goku fending off Frieza so calmly and without taking any blows is just awesome.

GT Goku Vs Super 17 (Round 1/Pre SSJ4). Edit: Also, I'd say GT Goku Vs Baby Vegeta and Co. (On Earth) as well as Base Vegito Vs Buuhan.

Buu Stamina alteration.

Btw does anyone know where the idea that End of GT Goku is some kind of omnipotent god came from? I've been seeing it everywhere lately and I'm genuinely confused. The MF has no feats besides appearing and disappearing like a ghost. Seeing people say he slams all of Super lmao.

Probably a mix of theorycrafting and people just being in awe of how ethereal this Goku appeared to be

That's what I figured.

And also cause he seemingly "absorbed" the Dragon Ball's and because he seems to have not aged much besides returning to adult form while Pan has become a grandmother.

Wait since Planet Vegeta has 10x the gravity of earth, can we upgrade the Frieza calc based on that?

Does anyone have the scans of kachi katchin being called the strongest and most durable material rather than just the hardest?

Was this in the anime or a databook?
I think it was a databook?

But if the anime mentions it too, I would like to see it, I only know about it being harder than katchin, but it seems there was a statement on it also being the strongest/most durable material as well

If you have it, i'd like to get it

Deepl: I've already built up enough energy to blow up the entire solar system, not just the Earth!

I got a question, if the KHH compresses ki and increases it's output beyond their normal state that way why would Cell scale to it?

He doesn't

Oh yeah I agree with the CRT, the question was more so directed towards the people complaining and saying he should scale. I don't see how he scales
Maybe you should re-read that thread, the issue was the claim that he would be thousands of times lesser despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary

Honestly, if these Kamehameha things have a potential greater than the user's own ki it will be chaos, there's already someone inventing fashion

🤣🤣🤣

I have a question, in the manga, while Goku and Vegeta were in their Base Forms, their combination of Kamehameha and Gamma Burst Flash warped the World of Void and changed its color, shouldn't it gave them new justifications, upgrades and abilities by the end of the Universe Survival Saga? Since they were capable of performing a feat that their previous CSSB states prior to likely/possibly breaking limits were unable to do despite them fighting at full power.

I don't get what you're saying here.

I've read it, and there is no evidence. A majority of the evidence is people just complaining about the change going through.
The only example of the KHH being a small boost is in the Saiyan saga, and even then the context of the scene is ignored. The KHH doesn't sightly multiply the output of ones ki via a multiplier, it gathers their ki and concentrate it which drastically increases the output of their attack. That number can grow higher if more ki is being concentrated.

I believe it is a much better feat

I said cell doesn't scale to his Kamehameha, not sure what you don't get

Really? Well then agree to disagree, if that's all you saw
The only example of the KHH being a small boost is in the Saiyan saga,
Ironic, this is actually the largest boost we saw from a Kamehameha up until the cell arc, a 2.22x multiplier

No one said it slightly increases, normal anyo say it doesn't upscale from the user's normal stats, but that it has never ever brought out thousands of times more power than what the user is capable of and just assuming that cell's Kamehameha, which is termed as a basic Kamehameha does that out of the blue with no evidence, was wrong

I am not interested in going through this again anyway

So this is the last I'll say on it

They were in base when they did this? Are you sure? Wasn't this when Jiren broke his limit on them?

Edit: looking at it again, it just seems that they lit up the area, the color came back after the beams had dissipated I believe
