A counter argument I can think of is that the universe is finite but it borders into an infinite void like described in daizenshu 4.

Is it my imagination, or did you put a lot of effort into depicting Vegeta?
Nakamura: Did I? I didn’t intend to, but… well, obviously Vegeta is right up there with Goku in terms of battle power. But personally I intended on putting more effort into the warriors like the Turtle Hermit or Kuririn, the ones who at first made you ask “why’d they bring these guys along?” Because Toriyama-sensei selected them. If he was just looking for battle power, then he would have only brought along people who could go Super Saiyan, like Goten or Trunks. I think Toriyama-sensei went out of his way to select those people as a way of telling us to have fights that would put them to good use, rather than simply having characters win by going Super Saiyan. I believe that was his aim in selecting those warriors.

As for the Gohan thing, not only was he really lax for the swing, confident that the Z-Sword could slice through anything with ease, but the Z-Sword itself was overpowered by the block of Katchin, which is confirmed by the Daizenshuu 7, explicitly stating that sword was unimpressive (1) (2), meaning that destroying Kachi Katchin would no longer mean scaling above Buu Saga Gohan.

Perhaps being considered the "strongest sword" would mean the Z-Sword is more powerful than Trunks' sword.

Trunks' sword broke on 18's body, 18 is comparable to the earthlings and she doesn't really train. This is quite consistent along with that writer statement. So maybe you have something.

Characters can even make Ki swords chaneling their energy, ex: Goku black, Zamas, Vegito

In other words this guy used dimensional tiering which vsbw doesn't use. Being 5D doesn't grant Low 1-C here, you have to be unquantifiably infinitely superior to Low 2-C structures (a.k.a 4-D) to become Low 1-C.Being 5D just grants you higher AP than baseline 2A.

I thought if 2-C DB was ever brought, it'd be because the hellish argument U7 will be accepted as a macrocosm with many space-times, or because we'd get a "this enemy is twice as strong as Jiren who's > GoD", but... I never thought WoV would be used for it.

Anyway, let's enjoy it and now look for 2-B DBS
