true, but the real-world reason was literally "we want pikkon to be surprised by super saiyan" so they recolored goku into base form

It's the reason for it's existence yes, but in-universe we just gotta make assumption's on it being a form or state of being
 
Forms are all over the place lol.

Realistically, Super Saiyan God should be called Saiyan God, and SSJB should be called Super Saiyan God. Whereas Goku being able to use the God form's power his base form doesn't even make sense when SSJG is literally just a Saiyan with God Ki. It would only make sense if the idea was that Goku adapted to the power level the SSJG form has. But that would be some crazy reactive evolution.

Vegeta had God Ki far before SSJG, so I wouldn't say it's a saiyan with God Ki. I honestly see no problem with the way they named it.

What I find surprising is that they didn't make Xeno Goku dominate superior instinct and use it together with SSJ4 making his fur turn white and thus look like SSJ5.
 
Also strangely it felt like the Crimson Mask Saiyan was heading to SSR4 due to how he was evolving and how they specifically highlighted how he grew a tail suddenly only for them to just cut off his form growth? Is that just me?

I know this is just what Ultra Instinct is called in more Latin based languages but I’ve used this name as the title of Goku’s Ki Susanno because it’s just so utterly cool.

I sincerely wish they either referred to Super Saiyan God as Saiyan God to begin with or at least named it that after the introduction of the blue-haired form, which would be called Super Saiyan God
