Wait so hypothetically if Toyotaro says in an interview maybe months later from now that the other world tournament that we saw in the anime happened in the manga, and to go watch the anime to see how that went for those that haven't watched the anime. How would we interpret this hmmm? 🤔

Saiyans just naturally transform into Super Saiyan God when using God Ki
No. Wrong.

A Super Saiyan God is a Saiyan god; as per chapter 4's narration, as per Piccolo, as per Jan. 23's Interval Special, as per Chōzenshū 4.
As gods, users, naturally, exhibit a god's presence and "aura"likely, their unique physical attributes.
As gods, users, naturally, develop a god's uniquely "pure, highly refined" Ki.
As gods, users, naturally, can achieve levels of Battle Power lying within the realm of the gods.

Being a Super Saiyan God grants God Ki; having God Ki requires a godly nature. The two events are interdependent. Being a god is indicative of possessing God Ki, and possessing God Ki is indicative of being a god. A mortal cannot and could never possess God Ki. An individual cannot simultaneously be a mortal and a god.

However, a Saiyan god, an Angel, a God of Destruction, the King of Everything, the planetary Guardians, Akira Toriyama, the Lord of Worlds, and the Lord of Lords are different types of gods. Every god is of a unique role, of a unique status, and of unique qualities; for example,
  • Only the Gods of Destruction wield the Power of Destruction (anime-only),
  • The Lords of Lords wield the "Power of Creation", creating life, planets, and stars within the universe,
  • As the King of Everything, Zen-Oh can erase everything,
  • The Angels, in a perfect state of mastery of self-movement, are naturally gifted martial artists of the highest possible order,
  • The Guardians govern and protect the lifeforms of their respective planets,
  • King Yemma, one of the gods of the afterlife, governs the judgment of the souls of the deceased,
  • The Lords of Worlds, like the Guardians, govern and protect the four Areas,
    • The Great Lord of Worlds, superseding the Lord of Worlds, governs the entire Universe,
  • Akira Toriyama is the "ultimate ruler of the Dragon Ball World",
  • etc.
Now, why does Goku Black use Super Saiyan Rosé instead of Blue? A Super Saiyan God is a Saiyan god, after all.
"The Super Saiyan Rosé transformation Goku Black undergoes is a unique state exclusive to Zamasu, who was previously a Kai."

I mean it can treated in a lot of ways, like maybe there's just a manga version of the otherworld arc, who knows. Toriyama did work on character designs like Olibu before.

This would be similar to when Toriyama said the Bardock special was canon, before it was retconned in Dragon Ball Minus.

yeah but at least Dragon ball minus was better

iicr this is for the DBS Manga and not the anime but it is an interesting statement nonetheless, Shoki/right-mindedness is after all a key component of ki
The guide that mentions about Broly from the Broly movie comic, does not have a Broly manga version or Broly manga adaptation (except for that manga page there that talks about Ozaru, the rest was all made for the movie and the movie itself is applied to the manga, so nothing originally just for the manga)

I failed to initially address a few issues, admittedly.
Firstly, in the Super anime, Super Saiyan Rosé is portrayed as being Black's Super Saiyan form, rather than any godly form.
As per the November 2016 issue of V Jump, as per Goku, as per Vegeta, and as per Toriyama's design drafts.
In fact, Black only acquired Rosé by "[making] Son Goku’s power completely [his] own"; a power he only internalized after battling Goku's Super Saiyan form.
Why does Rosé differ across the two continuities? I can only surmise because, in the anime, Zamasu is a Lord of Lords, rather than a Lord of Worlds—a higher status.
Secondly, in the Super manga, if Goku Black is, by nature, a god, why can he use Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan Rosé separately?
Simply put, because Goku Black is, by nature, a Lord of Worlds—not a Saiyan god.
Black only acquires the qualities of a Saiyan god by using Super Saiyan God, which, as per Black himself and the Interval Special, is a Super Saiyan transformation.
Only through the power of Super Saiyan God can SSGSS be achieved. Duh.

And, in chapter 22, Trunks says "Zamas's Rosé form", even though he always addresses Goku Black by name.
