Dragon Ball Super Discussion Thread 100

also i was pretty darn serious when i said that DB hypertimelines is pretty much the most straightforward example of it on the wiki (as far as i've seen, and trust me I read a lot of others' too).

with how much stuff it has supporting it (neutral zone, subspace, ROSAT, etc) it actually seems more disingenuous to not believe in it IMO. i really don't see how one could argue against it without appealing to incredulity tbh.

seeing how jiren didn't use his full power until like last minute, that ain't happening

anyway, why was the thing about ss2 gohan being twice as strong as super cell removed?

okay..
also these 2 statements are kinda contradictory

"Solar System level with Super Saiyan transformations (His power stagnated since the Cell Saga.[16] His power registered far higher than SSJ Goku's[17], though he is a lot weaker than his previous Cell Saga self."

the first part says his power didn't change from when he was a kid, but the second part says he's alot weaker, one statement has to go (i don't remember DBZ much so idk which statement is more accurate)

i think him being weaker makes more sense, since him being the same clashes with the SS2 multiplier

I thought stagnated meant degraded/weaker?

Also when is it shown that his SS2 power was higher than SS1 Goku’s? Cause the scan doesn’t cover enough, I even checked back through the chapters and still

stagnated = stood still, didn't move

but the statement itself says his power didn't change
I definitely think it’s more likely that his SS2 form just got weaker (aka the rage boost that goes with SS2) and that his regular strength didn’t change.

seeing how the profiles downscale gohan from his ss2 form, i don't think a rage boost is considered

wasn't ss2 the rage boost itself, anyway?

It should be, but the downscale won’t stay for long, not until the 4-B feat gets changed from scaling to physicals to only charged attacks.

Is it? I’ve always seen it as a combination of the two

I mean, logically speaking, teen Gohan would still scale to his KHH wouldn't he? Completely uncharged with half his ki missing
I also think Gohan should downscale. It was just decided in past threads that it shouldn’t, but that can change in the future who knows
