More specifically, he wants to expand the Dragon Ball franchise and not let it die out like it did before for around 16 years. Except in his eyes, the top execs are playing around so he wants to get the work done himself. For example, the execs were planning to use AI and Meta, and uh, he didn't take too kindly to that, so he straight up QUIT and moved on to make his own company. Similarly, he apparently was so interested in making a SandLand production (which wasn't getting greenlit) he just MADE ONE HIMSELF,
WITHOUT TELLING ANYBODY. I don't know HOW that works, since corporations are
MASSIVE with THOUSANDS of connecting arms and employees, (hence why the public gets leaks so often), but he was able to do that,

Which sounds like he's basically Sakurai, but for V-Jump and with the absolute massive balls to just say "**** you," to his corporate overlords instead of being strongarmed (as Sakurai was to make sequels, as they greenlit and started working behind the scenes without him, announced it, and only THEN came to ask him to work on it, under the pretense of "If you don't, we'll make the sequel to YOUR GAME,
WITHOUT YOU." Which
I DON'T blame him for letting himself get roped into, because I would do the same, honestly.)
