This thread is essentially about revising the speed of some of the cast of DBH to Infinite speed.

Timeless of the Demon Realm
The Demon Realm is a focal point in Dragon Ball Heroes. It is explained that the Demon Realm exists apart from time, history and the flow of time. Demon Gods are born and live(d) there. This should qualify them for infinite speed.

Scaling
If accepted it would scale to the major characters in DBH such as Son Goku (Xeno), Demigra, Towa, Mira and Chronoa

Agree: 22 (Gargoyle, Ever, Knight, Ryukama, Glass, Kep, Riki, Dieno, Amexim, Dragon, Ryu, Asnav, Julian, Zenkai, Rapid, Hrish, Quantu, Ultima, Kaltias, DMB, Sera (Demon Gods only), Pachi (Demon Gods only))

Disagree: 3 (TheUpgrademan, Matt, Fire)
 
I agree with the upgrades. Seems pretty reasonable and self explanatory as to why some of the cast should have infinite speed.
 
Seems fine first glance.

Considering this wiki's total lack of a consistent Infinite Speed guideline, I'm sure this will get argued immensely though

Asriel only just went to 2B recently so I highly doubt that ever happened.

Frisk vs Goku was done once and he is the least haxed so........

Not sure where you're getting that from.
 
I mostly disagree because said Demon Gods aren't portrayed as Infinitely-faster than any other character.

I'd have to ask how consistent this is with how the other characters and feats of speed are portrayed. This seems no different than having every single SMT Demon ever, including the Tier 8 fodder, to be Infinite speed because the Expanse is beyond space and time, and past, present and future.

By the way, "Not existing is history" isn't really a feat. It just means that the place is outside the history of the multiverse, being isolated as its own realm.

Demigra and the other Demon Gods go around destroying realities, and we're going to destroy all of reality.

There is a world of difference between giving them Infinite Speed, and giving Infinite Speed to say, Dabura.

They are not portrayed "infinitely faster" than someone like Xeno Goku because he scales.

This is the same thing with Dark Area Digimon. Non-tier 2 Dark Area Digimon aren't portrayed as infinitely faster than non-tier 2 Digimon.
 
Portrayal is the weakest argument against things like this though. Lots of characters in fiction aren't portrayed to be as strong as they are, SMT protagonists don't make clear how strong they are against the Gods they fight. There's also probably plenty of examples of characters in other verses who don't portray themselves to be even FTL, let alone Infinite, and yet they logically are. Unless the separate from time thing isn't accepted as a feat anymore...
 
I disagree with this because other verse have very similar cosmolgy, and abilities. If DBH high tiers get upgraded to infinite speed because of this. then some other verses will need upgrades to infinite speed as well. Also, if their speed was truly infinite. How come no fodder tiers got 1 shotted right away?

Can you name such verses? This is... pretty obvious. Living and being born in a realm outside of time seems pretty "Infinite" to me. Also, Fodders get 1-shot all the time in Dragon Ball. The only ones that are worth a damn are people that conveniently scales.


Also, Portrayal is yes, the weakest argument ever. Goku never has huge collateral damage in his fights so he must not be planet level even while Ultra Instinct. One Punch Man must be casually Universal because of how he's portrayed. Yamcha isn't complete fodder because he acts like he isn- oh.
 
Not to mention, saying 1 verse getting an upgrade means another does isn't an argument against anything. If the logic fits well, that verse should be upgraded too. We're not even talking about other verses anyway.
 
Also, this would apply to Time Breaker Barock since he can keep up with Mira in both Xenoverse and Heroes. The arguments for the speed feats in Xenoverse was just that "they appear to be travelling in finite speed", which Bluetrekking has already refuted in the points above. It's simply that the characters that fight them scale.
 
I agree with the upgrades 100%. It is very clear cut imo. Also it would scale to Xenoverse due to demon realm being the same there, and by scaling the characters to. Also consistent with feats from crack in time etc as well which is also a place without time.
