According to this calc, Kid Buu has a 136.81214 Exafoe feat, so people who are far stronger than him like Goku Ssj 4 should be 3-C.

Or "At least Multi-Solar System level+, possibly Galaxy level"

I guess the difference to break into 3-C was only 10 times. So "At least Multi-Solar System level+, likely Galaxy level"

Where does the 4-A/3-C come from anyway? I know about scaling from the anime, but still. Weren't they considered to be fighting at near-universal levels? (I haven't watched GT in awhile due to it not being my favoritest thing) And weren't the galaxies far larger than our own? Also, wasn't the 4 galaxies statement in one of the guidebooks? (AKA things we don't use?)

Apparently, the 4 Galaxies statements still "are canon" for the GT verse and as such, everyone was downgraded to mere Multi-Solar System level. The 3-C comes from the fact that the recent revised calculation for the Kid Buu Galaxy Bust over-time feat was only around 10x away from Galaxy level, which the GT cast basically stomps.

GT was stated by a narrator to have boundless galaxies. Not sure how much meaning that holds. If the difference is only 10 times, then even SSJ Goku should be Galactic due to his base form scaling to people who were stated to be stronger than anyone he's every fought.

How are the 4 galaxies canon, especially when it's been said over and over that we don't use Daizenshuu/Kanzenshuu numbers? I agree with Hadou in that if the galaxies are stated to be boundless, then that's the canon we should use.

I don't know. I personally disagreed with the downgrades ever since they were first implimented, so you'll have to pull some of the people that proposed the downgrades about this matter.

Boundless galaxies can simply mean that they are extremely large from a human perspective, and just because we do not use power levels this does not mean that we ignore all official information.

However, I am too busy to argue much, and am not particularly invested in the issue.

I personally think that 4 galaxies is silly. We're so anal on what's canon in DB and what outside guides/sources to use. Yet this one guidebook statement where nearly all the other information from the guidebook we adamantly deny that isn't supported elsewhere we base the entire consmology of GT off of. And we would've based the entirety of DBZ and Super had Super not debunked this beyond any reasonable doubt, which we called a "retcon", when really it's more like the series never had just 4 galaxies to begin with. Plus this same guidebook also claims the DB universe is infinite. Cherrypicking one part out of a source we deemed as noncanon to support an argument that the other part completely debunks is very disingenous in my opinion.

Also GT has arguably shown more than 4 galaxies.

I was about to post the thing about it saying the universe was endless and say, "if we use that guidebook statement, why don't we use this one and then consider the fact that it also says that Heaven, as a planet in the Afterlife is as big as the universe and that Goku and Kid Buu shook the whole Afterlife in their fight".

But then Ryu got here and you know, said what he said.

Well, I suppose that Ryukama makes sense.

The question is how this would affect the DBGT statistics.

Somebody should probably ask Matthew to contribute here.

I'm not sure. Omega Shenron's negative energy would have gradually destroyed the universe in an unknown timeframe, though implied to be a relatively quick one with a sense of high urgency. I just want 4 galaxies to finally be gone.

Also

"A local collection of stars and planets in outer space. A nebula is a collection of stars and planets, and in turn a collection of several nebulae is called a galaxy. Being responsible for the north/south/east/west, the four Kaios in practice oversee these galaxies. The divides between north/south/east/west galaxies are units which the celestial gods and Kaios produced for occupational purposes, in order to unify the galaxies which exist infinitely in outer space"

^ A statement which not only calls North, South, East and West sections of galaxies, but also claims infinite galaxies. Why is 4 galaxies based on this guide again?

If we based our stats on the guide, since it says the universe is infinite, he'd be High 3-A regardless. It just means the 4 galaxies are ridiculously big.

^

  • Universe also stated to be endless and expansive
  • Statements of innumerable stars and nebulae with galaxies made of said things
  • The moral realm stated to resemble reality
  • Mortal realm stated to be based off the actual universe
  • As such there are endless celestial bodies
4 galaxy Dragon Ball is the VS debate equivalent of flat earth

@Ryukama

Okay. Perhaps you can collaborate with Kepekley23 to create a highlighted content revision thread in the staff forum?

Well, no, the guidebooks say that the universe is endless and that there are infinite galaxies.

But this same guidebook says that Heaven is as big as the Universe, and the Afterlife was bigger than that. This would make Kid Buu High 3-A due to shaking it in his fight with Goku, unless we consider that an outlier.

I always though they said 4 Quadrants, and not 4 Galaxies, idk a lot about GT.

I think that a High 3-A Kid Buu would be an outlier.

I don't remember, but did they ever really use the word Galaxy for these things (Ginga;Úèǵ▓│)?

In total:

  • This guidebook statement isn't supported in the show itself
  • We almost never accept anything from this guide
  • There's a statement from the same guide saying the universe is infinite
  • There's a statement from the same guide saying North, South, East and West are quadrants (which is conveniently what Super was "retconned" into having)
  • There's a statement from the same guide saying that there are infinite galaxies
  • There's a statement from the same guide saying mortal realm universe resembles reality
  • There's a statement from the same guide saying mortal realm is based off the actual universe
  • There's a statement from the same guide saying the universe is endless and expansive
  • There's multiple statements from the same guide saying there are countless celestial bodies
  • GT shows more than 4 galaxies, plus the fact that Kid Buu in this same continuity was stated to have destroyed galaxies. How can there be 4 galaxies when Kid Buu destroyed at least 2 and there were more than 4 left?
Conclusion: 4 galaxy Dragon Ball was never a thing.

@Ant Kep can make a thread if he wants. I'm not too into GT revisions I just want this misinformation of 4 galaxies off the site. We should speak to him and others on how this would impact Negative Karma Ball's rating.

Okay. I will ask Kepekley to start a revision thread then.

@Fhfhghghg lol what the hell, what's wrong with that one DB downplayer. They still can't grasp Goku and Beerus being 3-A, whilst we're already onto tier 2. RIP

I've actually debunked very similar arguments once, though they had some faults because of the Toppo GoD stuff.

Ryukama stealing words from my mouth.

I definitely share the same thoughts as Ryu. And I would have brought it up if I cared enough about GT lol.

@AKM Just because GT sucks doesn't mean we should spread misinformation about it :)

I'm more concerned about the people lower in the comments who think Arale is stronger than the Living Tribunal because someone else in Doctor Slump can run across panels. XD

I think we should handle the revisions in this thread, but that's just me.

But I think that higher-tiered EoS GT characters makes a lot of sense. Would 3-A EoS Goku, Vegeta, Gogeta, Syn and the rest really be that horrible?

I would also request to be able to speak in such a thread, if allowed.

If Kid Buu is 1/10th Galaxy Level, even Kaioken x10 GT Goku would be above Galaxy Level, especially post Baby Saga Goku who's SS1 form is Superior to his SS3 form.
